So your boyfriend is 8 years younger than you, but most people think he is the older.

Most women would love to look that much younger than they are. As for the age difference, it's not much. Once you are an adult, age stop mattering. It's what is in the heart and mind that counts.
If you are lying about your age, it's not just a perception, then yes, it's bad. Lying is never good when it's in a relationship. The truth will eventually come out. Then trust is broken and that pretty much guarantees the end of the relationship.

The question is...does your boyfriend know your real age or does he also think that you are 19? If he knows the truth, let others think what they want...But i for sure wouldn't lie to your man about your age...If you two get serious, eventually it will come out..and he may not have a good reaction...especially since you lied to him....I don't think anyone should lie about their age..Who cares how old you are?? If you are 29 and look 19...thats GREAT...but theres still no need to lie about it...I would rather tell your true age and get the shocking responses....

Does your boyfriend think you are 19? If so, that's NOT good. If everyone else thinks you're 19 - so what? I can't say lying is good...(and remember, if this turns out to be something more serious the cat will have to come out of the bag). But if this is just for fun - who cares.

It's not bad that people think you are younger, but WHAT IN THE HECK are you doing dating a little boy? You should be dating guys your own age or a few years older. That is just icky.....

My exhusband was 19 when he moved in with a 36 year old woman. (His mother was 37 at the time) Is that wrong?

Spill the beans and tell him that in the "over-the-hill" years you will be pulling in Social Security 8 years before he will be and you will buy him a new truck with the money... Guy's are suckers for New Trucks....

No its not bad at all.Just be glad that people think you look that young.I still get people tinking i'm younger too and i'm 32. alot of people think that i'm around 20 or so years of age. and i just tell them thank you for makeing me younger then I am. good luck
