I think that love can go over any problems. If he loves her, like he says, then he should make it a point to see her as beautiful as he previously thought... as far as kids and what to tell them... kids understand things better with honesty. This is something she cannot help, and you know, I think that he needs to look at what he has had, does have and will have if he stays with her. I don't think losing an eye is the end of the world to her, but maybe losing him will be. He needs to think of how scared she must be right now, and he needs to stand by his woman... they have been together for a long time already, so I can only assume that was through thick and thin... so what, this is a thick time, and it will get better. They make prosthetic eyes and she will love him all the more for his decision to be there for her...

You've been with the girl a long time now, if you leave her over that you would be a fool. You should stick by her side and help her. It's just an eye, not her legs or arms. suck it up and be a man. Marry the girl and live happy beacause you have each other.

If he has to ask...then he really does not love her.

He would stand by her side since they have been together for 8 years and love her despite her cosmetic facial change due to her accident or whatever caused it.

He really doesn't care about her or love her if he actually thinking of dumping her. Physically changes shouldn't change what is in the heart.

bodies are not guaranteed by their maker.

either you love her or you don't, if losing an eye is causing this much grief, i would say you aren't ready to marry her and/or you really don't love her.
