Wonderful idea! I believe that you should have whomever you want to be the ring bearer, so did my daughter when she got married......our family dog....he was dressed up and had a special leash, and her younger brother, and the groom's walked him down the aisle. It was so cute, and it really meant the world to her. She bought a pillow, and I tied little silver rings on it, and sewed a strap that fit under his stomach....and there he went down the aisle in sporting a tie, and a fancy gold and silver lease...I had order him a tux, but it was just too hot, so we just used the tie.
So, I think a little girl would be precious, you just the most happiest of weddings, and thank God for little girls!
God bless us all..........

Ring Cushions
Wedding rings, continuous with no beginning and no end, symbolised eternal love to the Romans and Egyptians who used precious stones as well as silver and gold and were carried on a cushion. Hence the ring cushion (ring bearer pillow) we have made which carries the precious rings at the ceremony. The Page boy or Chief Bridesmaid would carry the cushion up the aisle to the Best Man who will place the rings on the cushion ready for the minister to bless.
Buying the engagement ring and the wedding rings at the same time is thought to bring bad luck and wearing the wedding ring before the ceremony can bring equally dire consequences.
The diamond engagement ring is a medieval Italian tradition, based on their belief that the diamond was created from the flames of love.

particular I had 7 365 days previous female who became our ring bearer and he or she made a pleasing job of it too, on a similar time as traditionally its boys that are the hoop bearers we've been such as you and had none, all ladies so of direction you've gotten a ring bearer who's female. i could be somewhat nervous that the two a million/2 365 days previous could be too small, its rather an considerable job. If this have been me i could have the 5 365 days previous do it she could be extra smart and understand how considerable she would be on the day. the two a million/2 365 days previous i could have as a teeny flower female walking down the aisle retaining someones hand how candy could that be, she could scouse borrow the tutor. We had a splash one like this that appeared lovable and he or she became so nicely behaved, she carried a teddy who had a splash bouquet in its palms. terrific of wonderful fortune.

Sheesh...do you need permission to step around a puddle if there are no signs telling you not to step in the puddle? Lighten up! My youngest girl did "double duty" as (and this is her title for the job) "Flower-girl-slash-ring-bearer." She carried a small basket of flowers and the ring pillow...and brought the rings up at the right time, too. No one even questioned the fact that she was...GASP...a GIRL!
Have a nice wedding. Stop worrying so much.

It would be okay to have a little girl as your ring bearer. It's just so traditional for a little boy to do it. But tradition is dead. It's your wedding and you do it the way you want to do it. Congratulations on your upcoming event. I know you will be a beautiful bride.

my flower girl was also my ring bearer. sounds weird but it ended up being really cool. she carried a basket & a ring pillow. no one questioned it, at least not to my face, and i thought it was unique & kinda cool. i was in your situation, had no little boys to be a bearer. my cousin was going to but his mom had to bow out of the wedding to have surgery so he had to stay in the hospital with her.
these days tradition isn't so important, and it's your wedding, so arrange it however you want.

So have the ring bearer be a girl. There's nothing wrong with that! They can both wear flowergirl dresses, and it will look very sweet.

Oh well, stop the world! This is a no-brainer, dear. Yes, a little girl can be the ring bearer. I hope you can figure out the things in your marriage that REALLY MATTER when they arise, because dear, this isn't one of them. Geesh!
