I'm getting married in July in a garden setting. I would like to do a "wedding program" but I haven't liked the traditional styles because our wedding is so simple. I want it to be more of a welcome and thank you in a scroll style and handed out at the ceremony. Does anyone know where I can get sample wording or is this not "proper ettiquette"?

i'm going to italy next week to be bridesmaid at my boyfriends sisters wedding,my boyfriend is best man.so far we've spent around £3000 on the holiday(4 star hotel etc.)in total it'll be about £5000.do we really need to buy a gift?it's not that we don't love them,or that we are cheap but haven't we spent enough?

Criteria:
1. You want to do it Quick (within 2 months)
2. You want to do it Modest (not exactly cheap)
3. You want it do it tasteful (but simple)
Question: What are the bare ESSENTIAL - must haves? (Limo vs. Rental, Restaurant Reception vs. Backyard, Photographer vs. Friend, Church vs. Beautifully Decorated Yard, etc.)

I was wondering how much the average wedding cost? And how much it too much to pay for rings? Oh and this really isn't a question I don't guess but someone please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks a yellow box cake is just a little tacky, my bf says when we get married he wants the cake the be a yellow box cake!
He would like the frosting to be Pilbury chocolate frosting! Now he's talking about haveing Kool-aid too, I think I'm not going to be talking to him about the wedding anymore I'm just going to do all the planning myself. I HATE KOOL-AID!!!!

through a wedding where a precessional song was sung in German (It's a Lutheran Hymn written by Martin Luther Himself) and the pastor did a small sermon or speech on each of the verses explaning what it means and how it ties into marriage instead of the same old speech pastors usually give at weddings. My mother hates it because hates Lutheran music, so she thinks everyone will hate the idea. Will they?

We want to get married on the beach, and have the reception on the beach- but not sure how to do it. Do you just set up the food and tables before and just have it sitting there during the wedding?(like get married, and then just turn around- and say "okay letd eat"?) Or after wedding do you have guests wait while you se tit up? DO you have tables and chairs on the sand, or let everyone stand? what about music (no music allowed on beach) Do you still "walk down the isle" w/o music. ??? How does this all work what is the etiquitte?

I'm getting married in October and my son is giving me away. I'm having a hard picking a song for my son and me to dance to. I got a few suggestions the other day but nothing im too excited about. Let me clarify that I don't want anything Disney nor Americal Idol, No Celine or Mariah, No Country or Whitney. I don't care how old the song is, actually I would perfer an older song. Please make sme suggestions following these guidelines!! Thanks!!!

My fiance and I have been together for over 6 years. We love each other and want to spend the rest of our lives together the only thing is he hates my parents and doesn't want anything to do wtih them. Our families are very different--I was abused while growing up, it is true I was hit when I got in trouble and I was verbally abused. My parents also were not home much growing up because they worked a lot, in additon there was a lot of yelling that went on. I'm 23 years old now and although things are not perfect in my house things have gotten better. My parents are trying so hard to be "good"people they even went for counselling. My fiance says that my parents always let us down and he doesn't want anything to do with them and that if we get married he doesn't want to visit them or even let our children see them. I don't know what to do because I love my fiance but I also love my parents and I'm not going to give up on my parents that I love. People don't do a full 180 overnight.

now where not engaged or even close to it. but evertime i bring up the subject, he's just iffy on it. like a few weeks ago, i asked him if he sees himself marrying me, and he saids yes, he can.

now today he tells me that marriage scares him a bit and honestly doesn't see himself doing it right now. which of course i understand and i'm not asking to get married right now?

he's been married before also, but i want to be able to talk to him about this without scaring him off. is their sugestions or things i should do? i want him to want to marry me in the future.

or am i just being over dramtic. i mean is their anyone else out their that has the same problem?

please i would love some advice or guidence in this and please please be nice with the answers. i really like somehelp in this.
