A used salad bowl at my bridal shower.. it was in a big box with purple paper shredding.. no name no nothing and no one knew who it was from..

And at the wedding.. i opened a card it was signed from 2 people and guess what was in it... 2 bucks !!!!!!!!!!!

i gave the 2 bucks to guy at the bar and said i don't want these crappy peoples money... the best part was they were not even invited!!!! i do not know how they got past the security guard at the door but they got in..

I had 247 people at the wedding and reception and that was the worst thing ever.. everyone else gave us no less then 20 dollars a person .. it was a very formal wedding I did not get married and have everything perfect to get gifts but 2 bucks... i felt like throwing it at them for me paying 28 bucks a person for them to eat and they were not even invited.. i got the security guard fired from the company i picked him up at because of him letting them in and they gave me my 56 bucks back and 30 bucks towards the bar bill for the bouncer letting them 2 in without a invitation!
That was my once in a lifetime deal and no bad security guard was going to get away with messing up my day!

Did i mention my husband is a armed guard..lol
he thought i was cruel for getting him fired.. i said hey he might be a guard but he did not do his job so he worked for free for me that night..

Well, we didn't actually expect any gifts when we got married becuase all we cared about was being together, but I guess the worst would be nothing at all from my mother-in-law. She didn't give us anything or help pay for the wedding. She just showed up and kind of made an *** of herself.

I didn't receive any bad gifts, I was really happy that people gave us anything. I did get 3 crock pots at my shower, but I kept them all because they're all different sizes and it's come in handy when entertaining.

second hand bed sheets, they were torn and dirty, and some glasses that were chipped and cracked! they were from a friend of the grooms' family, she was a very elderly lady and was clearing out her cupboards, rather than throw them away she thought we could make use of them. We didn't make use of either gift.
