I try to keep on top of these for gifts for my wife. I LOVE the internet!
Traditional 30th wedding anniversary gifts has a theme of Pearls and is commonly known as the Pearl Anniversary.
A contemporary or modern 30th anniversary gift has a theme of Diamond Jewellery.
The flowers associated with the 30th anniversary are Sweet pea

Pearl & Diamond but since both are pretty costly and how can you get something for the both of them in either one (since both is mostly for women)how about:
If you are crafty ,a picture frame with pearls glued around it and maybe a copy of thier original wedding photo? I think that would be really nice but yet not costly and could be for the both of them not to mention it comes from the heart.

It's pearl! It was our parents recently but neither my sister or I can afford real pearls so we got them some bath pearls and some white malteasers and made them a card on pearlised paper!!!

Pearl is traditional but diamonds are more modern.

you could call it copper. but i think pearl is more appropriate
