We want to do some of the traditional things, but also want our wedding to be "ours" and have some things that aren't as common (something else instead of a unity candle, etc.).

Any ideas???

THANKS!

I thought this was an acceptable practice, my fiancee thinks it is not.

I didnt know what it was so I opened it. BUT...now that I saw it there is a problem. I dont like it...
Should I tell him that I saw it and see if we can change it or would that be rude so I should never say a word and just pretend that I like it.

Getting married in a little less than a year and don't want to pay $1,000 for a brand new wedding dress. I am considering buying one that was a sample dress off the Internet. I have someone to alter it if it doesn't fit.

Just curious if anyone knows of a good reliable place to find a wedding dress!!!

Thanks for your help!!! :)

Just want to know what some people's experiences were with it.

Any suggestions??

Warnings??

Would it be a good idea if the seller has a really good feedback score? I already have someone to alter the dress, so it won't cost much more to have alterations done.

THANKS!!! :)

I love the dress! It's not poofy or anything, and with its trim and and criss-cross back it would make the perfect "little black dress." How and where would I have this done?

My boyfriend and I plan on getting married in probably September 2007. When should we start planning and making arrangements? Any steps or guideline that would make it easier? Can you give me a time frame of when to do what? Thanks!

I am going to a reception for the wedding (which took place out of the country a couple months ago). I don't know the co-worker very well and don't make a whole lot of money. What do you think is a good amount?? It's off a registry, so they will know exactly how much I spent.

We are getting married in March, actually on St Patricks Day, and I want to know if someone can tell me what kind of flower would be cheapest to use...I've ruled out roses, and I think lilies would be good. My colors are sage and white. Thanks for your help!

is it rude to ask family members to help pay for our wedding? If not how do you ask? We are tight on our fiances and want to have a nice wedding/family reunion. I just don't want to come out rude.

I'm asking my friend to sing a solo during the wedding ceremony. She has a great voice... very delicate and beautiful. I'm not sure what song I'd like for her to sing though. Does anyone have any good ideas?.. She can sing mostly any kind of song wonderfully. Something classy and delicate would be nice though. Ideas?
