I heard that gay wedding planner have the most style than a straight female. I have seen wedding movies that has more gay wedding planner than straight female ones.

You shouldn't care about someone's sexual orientation when deciding on a wedding planner. Who cares! Its about who has the best portfolio and will go the extra mile to make sure your vision for your day comes true. Men and women alike are capable. Gay or straigt makes no difference. Its about who will get the job done the best and most efficient way possible.

Some gay men are very stylish and can put together a very nice wedding, but this is a stereotype, not all gay men have style. Basically meet with the planner and if he/she makes you feel comfortable and sees eye to eye with you on what you want in a wedding then that is who you hire, not a gay man over a straight female.

I would hire a gay male, because I think that for wedding planning they tend to keep their composure much more than straight females. I think it will be easier for a female to have more conflicts with another female. I've found gay males (have several friends who are) to have a way with girls that is more like I would like to be treated when I'm all stressed about my weding. Straight female can become hysterical (and not in the funny way!).

Decide which one seems to know her job better, is more compatible with you and what you want (who listens to your ideas and doesn't just push on with her own agenda), and whose price seems right for what you'd like. Sexual preference shouldn't really enter into the decision!
