Don't live your life by the what if's. This is your special day. If you really want an outdoor wedding you should plan for that but it is a great idea to have a back up plan just in case. Outdoor weddings are beautiful. You don't want to look back on it and wish you would have went through with it outdoors. Best of luck with your wedding and marriage!

Go with your dream, and have back up plan ready. You can't run your life waiting for the rain.
I have planned for an outdoor wedding, overlooking the ocean. Our reception is on site in a marquee so we have a back up plan, if it does happen to rain we will just move the ceremony into the marquee. If it is light rain, it won't be a problem.
It's your day, don't worry about it. I'm sure there will be bigger problems than worrying about rain.

You should always have backup plans even when you are planning for an indoor wedding. Rain is just part of it. Don't be too negative. Wedding is something that is joyous and you must make it the best that you can. If you are planning at gardens or parks, I am sure there are staff that can help you with the backup plans.

If you and your fiance's dream is of an outside wedding then by all means, Go for it... Do not live your life with the possibility of.. Live for what you all planned for and dreamed of and make it happen. You can always and should have a "back up" plan in case it does rain.

Plan the outdoor wedding but you absolutely must have a back up plan. Unless you live in Riverton, WY where it hasn't rained since I moved here in January.

It really depends on how much money you have.
A back up plan can not hurt since you've invited
your family and friends and want to have a lovely
day. Weddings are so special and all the effort
you've put into it should not be spoiled due to
rain. Enjoy your Wedding.

There are like special tent things. I'm not really sure what they are called. But you can probably by a large enough one. Pending on how many guests you have invited. And it could really set the mood if you like probably put candles around on the inside, really set the mood nicely.
