Yes, I did it was a Sat. in 1997. Yes it does sound like a strange time, but we had a late lunch (roastbeef etc.) I just remember it was a gourgeous day on Oct. 4, 1997.
As far as that morning goes, it wasn't too bad. I did my own hair and makeup. The one thing that was stressful was having my mom, my sister, two brides maids, a flower girl and myself all in one house trying to get ready. That was too much. Don't have too many people around you. It's an overwelming enough day as it is. Make sure you take some deep breaths and do some relaxation exercies.

My cousin got married at 2 p.m. and then had the reception 4 hours later. She had a very hectic morning getting ready. But then she also had most everything being done for her by the place she had her reception at. It was a nice wedding and she looked gorgeous. I think in some ways she had time to relax between the ceremony and the reception. She didn't have to have as much time between having her hair done and the wedding so that she didn't have to worry about it getting messed up. My wedding was at 5 p.m. (so that diabetics wouldn't get sick from having to wait too long for food). It was very hectic morning and afternoon. I'll never go through that again.

I got married at 12:30 and it would have been fine if the stupid girl doing my hair didnt take it out and re-do it like 5 times. she almost made me late. Other then that, I had everything ready the day before. My dress was hanging at my parents ready for me to put it on, all the little stuff like shoes, jewellery and that was laid out for me, my maid of honours stuff was all ready to go. We got our hair done first thing at 9am so all we hd to do was come back to my parents house, dress, take a few pics and go. My dad got all the flowers at 9am, my husband to be was being picked up by his best man and got to the chapel 30 mins before me to get everythign taken care of so everything was set. If you get everything ready the night before, 12 is not a hectic time for a wedding and it gives you all day to celebrate. The day goes by fast enough as it is so having it earlier lets you enjoy your day for much longer. I also found the less time I had to get everything done and the busier i was, the less time I had to get nervous. If I wasn getting married until 2pm then I would have had too much time to sit around because my parents are very organized and had everythign taken care of. The morning rush is fun too and creates lots of memories. Have fun with your day.

I am getting married in Nov. and i didnt know that you are supposed to get married as the hour hand is going up like example I am getting married at 4:30. So it should be 15, 30 or 45 after the hour. I wouldnt get married around lunch hour if your anything like me there is so much to do before the wedding (Hair, nails ect ect) then I would think it would make you rush WAY TO MUCH! Its your day your gonna be nervous enough. Why make it worse for ya? LOL GOOD LUCK

I'm getting married at noon this coming Wednesday (August 2nd). That was the only time during the day that the guy had available to perform our ceremony. I'm sure I'll still be trying to get my hair done at 11:30 or so. With this heatwave going on, i'm sure my makeup won't last long even though we're having it inside the church.

No a lunch time wedding is a great idea.
You just need to be up early and have alot
of your plans completed. Good for you
for wanting the Wedding during the noon time.
It's your day, enjoy the time with your family
and friends.
