I love the dress! It's not poofy or anything, and with its trim and and criss-cross back it would make the perfect "little black dress." How and where would I have this done?

You could do that, but why not donate it to charity so that another bride can use it for her special day?

Go for it, check with the dry cleaners. It's better than the gown sitting in the back of the closet for the next 20 years. It might be hard to dye the dress if it's 100% polyester.

Yes there are places that do that, check the yellow pages
I think it is an excellent idea.
So often wedding dresses are put in a chest or closet and never get worn again, you would be making good use of it.

If you don't think you may want your daughter to wear it some day, bring it to a dry cleaner and see if they can do it for you.
