When I was 13 my 2 cousins( all 3 of us 11 mths apart from ech other me being in the middle) and I sat down one day (we got bored) and planned our entire wedding days the only thing we had missing was the year and the groom. I think every little girl dreams up thier wedding day. But most when they actually do get married follow what they planned when they were little.I am 32 years old and am getting married for the first time on nov 19th (2 days before i turn 33)
We are having a simple but yet pretty wedding. Yes there are probally things I would like to do at my wedding that I dreamed of when I was 13 but unfortiontly our fianances will not allow this. My colors are me white the girls red and the guys black. I am only having my cousin that im the close to as moh. And the best man is actually my fiancees daughter (colors is one thing i planned when i was lil red is my fav color) our centerpieces are heart bowls with drooping pearls around edges white gems and a white rose candle floating in water they are very pretty. We are also doing alot of things in memorey of my fiancees parents since they both died last yr within 5 mths of ech other and the day we picked to be married wouldve been there 49th wedding anniversary.
Keep dreaming of your wedding theres nothing wrong with it. it will happen one day for you

I've been planning (and playing out) my wedding since I was a small child. Now, next year I'm getting married to an amazing man who wasn't my "type" and the wedding plans are no longer the fairytale of years gone by. It has gone from the dream wedding in a church with an expensive dress with all the trimmings to a casual beach wedding and laid-back picnic style reception and I couldn't be happier.
So, in summary I don't think it's abnormal to plan out your wedding from the time you're young, as long as when the time comes, you don't HAVE to have it exactly as you did in your head when you were 13, and you have the best possible partner-for-life by your side.

me!! well im still too young to get married and dont have anyone to marry yet. but when i was 12 i planned out my wedding...its going to be this huge, traditional church wedding and then the reception held right by the beach. i dont want a ton of ppl there-- just family and friends. calla lillies mixed with deep purple flowers, same color as the bridesmaid's dresses. and i've known exactly which dress i want to wear since 4 years ago lol.

YES!! I have been looking at wedding books and getting ideas for a long time before I got engaged. Of course, I didn't go around telling guys about all of my plans. My wedding is going to be light blue and white....with white daisies and light blue hydrangeas...very simple...have fun with your planning and dreaming!!

I started planning in University. When I was 13 I had decided I was going to be a cat lady and never get married.

I know I certainly did, but now that I am older and getting married next year a horse and buggy just doesn't seem to be the right fit for a wedding in Jamaica.
