Hopefully this isn't a stupid question.
I live in Australia, while most of you are probably American. In many Australian state schools, wearing uniform is compulsory. It takes an emphasis off a sex life. There is still dating, but there might be less of it. Most of you probably kissed or had sex during high school. I know quite a few people (ie. A+ students) who have never had sex/kissed before. Obviously I'm a virgin too and see things differently.
I was surprised when I read in Yahoo! Personals articles that if you don't kiss during dating, your relationship won't progress. Is this American culture? I thought men were suppose to propose and get engaged first before kissing their fiancees. No kissing while dating.
My virginity means a lot. I don't want to kiss a girl before I know she truly loves/will marry me. What will people think if I just go for it?
I'm a Uni student, 21, Australian, male, virgin, never kissed a girl.
Is romance/dating different in America?
