What is the easiest way to change from being a night owl to being a day person? I was born at 3:06 AM and I have always loved working the 3rd shift. Right now I am not working but I will stay up till now or later and want to sleep till 11 AM. I would love to wake up at 6 AM and feel refreshed, but I just can't seem to do that. I thought about staying up all night too, but then I will just get really tired around 2 in the afternoon and want to take a nap!

Are we night owls doomed to being night owls for life?

I am thinking of getting lasik surgery done. My distance vision is very good. I am tired of using reading glasses. What has been your experience? It seems I get different opinions and recommendations with each doctor I visit. I am very nervous about this and very confused....please help.

It's very irritating. My stomach hurts, I can't decide if I'm tired, and I swear my body temperature must drop a few degrees, because it suddenly seems so HOT all around me.

Okay maybe its not THAT bad but it is really painful. Anyway, today I went ice skating and I made a very STUPID mistake and wore low socks... smart right :/ Well anyway, me and my friend skated for a good 2 or 3 hours and the whole time the skate was rubbing up against my ankle causing friction and horrible chafing :S I took off my skate and I have these horrible red open sores on my leg. Just the air hitting them makes them hurt soooo bad! I feel like tearing off my legs. You have no idea how much it hurts. Taking a shower is gonna be HELL!!!! Anyway, do you have any suggestions?? Thanx in advance.

Me and a couple friends were driving into the city for a night of partying, we live about 40 min away. Anyway as we driving one of my friends had to pee because alcohol (not the driver). So we pull into a gas station but guess what - it's just a person in a booth, no service or bathrooms!

So my friend ran around to the side of the building and past this soda vending machine. And she just went for a pee there on the asphalt, squatting behind the vending machine!!!

What do you do, if in the same situation?

For several months now, I have experienced severe cold and shivers when I get sleepy. It happens quite suddenly. For the most part, I will first feel like I'm freezing , then I will become extremely drowsy to the point of being unable to get up and go to bed.

I am planning to visit my doctor, but for the mean time I am curious what you think might be the cause of this.

I have a nine month old daughter who is in physical therapy for severe developmental delays (i.e. - she doesn't sit, crawl, hold a bottle, play with toys, hold on to anything, she basically doesn't do anything) and SSI has been denied twice saying she is not disabled. I have had to quit work so I can get her from doctor to doctor and therapy. No one can tell me what's wrong, they just say she's had brain damage (she was born at 29 weeks, weighing 1280 grams) and we have to wait. Her insurance runs out the end of February and I can't get her on anything else that my husband and I can afford, not with all the specialists. What can I do to get them to approve her? She needs it and I know she qualifies, I just need to know what avenue to pursue.

A very new renter started living at this house and had been with us a mere 5 days before dying from a drug overdose in the bathroom where he was found hours after he had died.

Blood is on the floor...still.

I was told that professional cleaning crews are usually the most and best qualified to clean these types of messes up as there may be a potential hazard of getting AIDS or hepetitus from cleaning this up.

After hearing this I have no interest in cleaning it up and do not believe it my responsibility.

I believe that the landlord should hire a professional cleaner to take care of this regardless of cost.

What are your thoughts?

okay so ive written b4 and didnt get much of a response.. anyway @ times i see white things in my stool that look like seseame seeds and red tissue like thing(s) anyway i have no idea what they are. .i dont see them ALL the time but a lot.. i have suffered stomach pains for almost a year now.. kinda scary i did however see the poppy seeds from the bagel i ate the other day in my stool..
