A cold will go away in about a week so take medicine and be patient.

Your best bet is too wait it out if medications aren't working. If coughing fits are your biggest problem, try a teaspoonful of honey! It will help your cough, also befor you go to bed put some VapoRub on your feet and cover them with socks, make sure there is a vaporizer in your room! Hope I helped!

Keep warm. Drink plenty of non-caffeinated liquids -- at least 2 liters a day of tepid or warmed mineral water would be good (add a little honey and lemon juice if you like). Take 2 standard 500mg paracetamol every 4 hours (no more than 8 in any 24 hour period).

Get plenty of sleep, drink plenty of water, eat as less junkfood as possible, and get a good amount of protein in your system. Works for me :)

Drink you some Thera Flu cold and sleep. Get as much rest as you can. Sorry and hope you feel better.
