I remember them well. Years ago, Woolworths used to do small chocolate birds nests around Easter time with the same pink stuff in the middle.....scrummy.

You're showing your age! That was a long time ago. I think they were made from a special kind of sugar and had a tail, made from a short length of cord...

yeh always in the sweet shop with jars of sweets and a tradiationally weighing scales, the sweets would be placed into paper bags. What happened to those shops?
