I have never had blood clots during menstruation before now that I am over 30 yrs old, I have some for the first 3 days of menstrual period. I get worried because I don't want to get anemic. Could it be because I have gained weight? Maybe I have a problem with my ovaries or uterus? I had four pregnancies but I only have one child and I have never had this problem until a few months ago. Please help!

Just wondering what you all think. I have a son at school and I have ask the head teacher if she could get his teacher to put sun cream in his HAND so he can then apply it to his face and the answer I got was no. I ask why and she said the teachers are not allowed to rub it on the child. But as i stated "IN HIS HAND".
Do you think the teacher should be able to put a small amount into his hand for him to apply?

When in Sorrento a few years ago I really enjoyed the local alcoholic liquor Limoncello and took some of the creamier version home. With a rational worldview you have to follow the evidence wherever it leads, and it has led us to all kinds of fascinating and exciting discoveries about the Big Bang, the origin of stars and planets, the evolution of living organisms and so on. It seems such a shame to me that people are content with religious explanations when reality is so much more interesting. 'God Did It' is an intellectual dead-end - Not an answer to any of our questions about the universe, but a way of avoiding the question.
So, is there any way to inspire religious folks to seek the truth about the universe and not be content with the banal mythology which has been foisted on them as if it were something deep and meaningful? How can we educate and excite people about science instead?

Very obviously, Russia is sending its troops to stop Chechenia from being independent. I think if they want the independence, then the Russians should grant it.
Or at least, the Russians should not kill the Chechens. What rights do the Russians have of killing people, who demand the independence of their own soil?
My question is, why is this serious conflict not recognized by the world powers and the UN? If this kind of act was happening on the other part of the world, then the Americans would be involved in it, or the UN would take action.
