When in Sorrento a few years ago I really enjoyed the local alcoholic liquor Limoncello and took some of the creamier version home. My friend tells me that she thinks they may sell a normal version of Limoncello in Sainsburys but I'm not certain of this. If anyone knows could they please state prices if they are aware of them? Thankyou!

I don't know... but I suggest you make your own, it is a lot tastier, and it is easy and cheaper. Recipe follows:

Ingredients: 12 lemons without chemical surface treatments, 1/2 liter (1/2 quart) alcohol (ask in drugstore), 1/2 kg (1lb) sugar,
1/2 liter (1/2 quart) water.

How to: wash the lemons carefully, brushing the surface well. Peel off the yellow part only with a paring knife (the white is bitter), and in a large jar (2l) put lemon peels, alcohol, sugar and water. Stir with wooden spoon, close the recipient and store it in a quiet spot for 6 days. Every day, morning and evening, shake well the jar.
After 6 days, it is ready, just need to filter it. You can filter it with a coffee filter put in a seeve...
Then you store in the fridge, and enjoy!!!

The Playboy "junior" line is a bit dodgy, but do you really think the children invloved even know what Playboy is? Anyway, I blame the shops/parents.
