This is a tough one but I reckon if I had been born in 1948 then I would have been 15 when the beatles were first on the scene which is an appropriate age for screaming and fan worship. I would have been old enough during the summer of love to indulge in all that free lovin that went on. During the mid eighties I would have been 37 and would have looked great with big hair and shoulder pads. But alas I was born in 1984.....................

The generation you were born in will be the best even though you are too young to appreciate it, when you're a bit older and you can remember your early days, you sometimes wish you back there. I think this is because you feel the hurt and pain of growing older with more responsibility, then look back at your naivety and innocence at the time. I have fond memories of the Seventies, I was Gary Glitter's best fan and look at him now!!!

I was born in the early 70's. But if i could choose it would be to be born in the early 60's. I loved the fact that we didnt rely on television for our entertainment. We didnt get television until 1974 in South Africa. My parents got our first TV in 1976 and we only had one channel until the mid 80's. TV only started at 4.30 and was finished at 10 pm so making your fun was the name of the game.

My generation are fairly stable and well rounded individuals, I believe! The thirty - forty year olds. Hopefully, we'll bring our children up the same way, thereby providing some pleasant relief after the current generation have had their turn at running the country in twenty years time. God forbid.
