He told me that he found the perfect song for us to dance too. Can anyone tell who this singer is? The name of the song is Strawberry Wine or Champange one those is the name to the song. This is the only thing I'm letting him do, but I need too know what the heck I'm dancing too.

I feel sorry for the guy. You seem like a control freak. If you are going insane over such a little thing how can you survive the long haul of marriage.

Marriage is for two; not just YOU!

Did you ever just think to trust him to lead during the dance and you just follow? If you can't trust him with this then don't marry the guy 'cause you are not prepared to trust him with anything!

You already said this is the ONLY thing that you allowed him to do during the wedding so let him.

I think you need some premarriage counseling, quick.

I have the lyrics for you but first, it takes two to have a marriage, why are you ONLY ALLOWING your husband to be the one to pick ONE song?

Strawberry Wine
Deana Carter

He was working through college on my grandpa's farm.
I was thirsting for knowledge and he had it all. (yeah)
I was caught somewhere between a woman and a child.
When one restless summer we found love growing wild.
On the banks of the river on a well beaten path.
It's funny how those memories they last.
Like strawberry wine and seventeen.
The hot July moon saw everything.
My first taste of love oh bittersweet.
The green on the vine.
Like strawberry wine.

I still remember when thirty was old.
My biggest fear was September when he had to go.
A few cards and letters and one long distance call.
We drifted away like the leaves in the fall.
But year after year I come back to this place.
Just to remember the taste.
Of strawberry wine and seventeen.
The hot July moon saw everything.
My first taste of love oh bittersweet.
The green on the vine.
Like strawberry wine.

The fields have grown over now.
Years since they've seen the plow.
There's nothing time hasn't touched.
Is it really him or the loss of my innocence.
I've been missing so much.... yeaaaaaa
.....Strawberry wine and seventeen.
The hot July moon saw everything.
My first taste of love oh bittersweet.
The green on the vine.
Like strawberry wine.

seventeen......
The hot July moon saw everything.
My first taste of love oh bittersweet.
The green on the vine.
Like strawberry wine....

strawberry wine....
ohhhhhhh.....
strawberry wine....

I agree....

Have you gone to counselling and if so are you telling the counsellor what to do?

I've photographed enough weddings to know that you will be bridzilla on a day that should be the happiest day of both of your lives. Is this how you want people to remember your day? Having everyone scared that you are going to breathe fire for the first wrong breath they take? Allow him to be part of the planning and not just the song. He does have a voice also.

You may have the wedding festivities planned out to the tee but unless you are willing to give in this relationship also it will not last.

why has he only had such a small say in the wedding? is he not going to be there as well? That's a shame, I would want my future husband to have a lot more input for "our big day" than just one song. The words of the song sound like someone pining for their first love, are you his first love?

Why aren't you asking your husband about this? Why not ask him to play the song for you?

If that's the only thing you're "letting" him do, are you avoiding discussing it with him because you both know you'll be critical about it?

Just ask him to play you the song, and say, "Honey, that's beautiful." I don't get why this is a question.
