What ever you can afford! If he is a real friend it isn't going to matter how much but the fact that you were there.

Generally speaking, $50 for every person who attends the wedding ceremony and reception is a good amount, though it may vary according to socio-economic class, region, and whatnot. So if you and a guest attend the wedding, $100 would be the amount to be included. Ideally, your gift will cover the cost of your reception meal at the very least, though by no means should you ask your friend how much the reception is going to cost. :-)

The more the better. When I was married, I received $10 to $100 in my wedding cards. It really helped us to buy what we needed to start our life. I would put at least $20 but $50 is better. Don't be cheap.

You don't have to think of a gift. That's what registries are for. It's much classier to send a gift than to send money that takes no thought.

But, if you do have to send money, it should be at least $50-100. Anything less makes you look cheap.

Most couples have wedding registries. If you don't want to pick an item off their list you can pick up a gift card for one of the stores that they registered for.

$50-100 depending on your income.

we just got married on saturday and obviously we opened up cards and gifts. about 90% of the cards had $40 or more in it. I personally try to put $50 in a card. Good luck on deciding what amount to put in.

You should try and put in at least as much as what they spent for you at the wedding. If you can, put in 50-100 bucks. That way you cover the cost of your attendence and you give them a little extra.

Depends on how rich you are personally but a gift of $100 is a good price.
