My fiance just told me he met someone else and wanted to chat with her (get to know her better), now our wedding's off since she lives a couple of hours away and we are in different countries. Give me your opinions.

I'm not looking to get back together with him, in fact i've wished the two best of luck. Just wondering what you thought about it.

Better now than later. being on a long distance relationship is hard since you will always crave the psysical connection as well as the emotional connection. It's more practical, easier and rational to have someone close by to fulfill both emotional and psysical needs,
Do the same. Good luck

oh my god i cant believe him. dont even waste you time waiting for him. this means that he never loved you. so you better let him go off with that other girl and never speak with him again.
i heard a saying when i was younger. that guys usually go from tree to tree to find the perfect one to pee next to. i know this sounds stupid. but it makes sense. then after they pee at that tree, they find out that they are standing in a pile of ants and bugs and that part of the forest is withered and old. so they look at the tree that they first wanted to pee next to and feel horrible that they didnt go there in the first place. they were trying to see if there is a better tree out there.
so this guy is trying to see if there is soemone better then you out there and he will use her and be with her and end up wnting to come back to you. but when he gets back to you im sure he will do the same thing while you two are married. he could cheat on you. so you need to descide on this matter. do you want to take him as your husband, after what he is doing to you now? or do you want to leave him now befor you two get too deep into a relationship and then if he cheats on you you will be really hurt.
i dont think he loves you. you should forget about him. tell him he hurt you and tell him he is not an honest person if he goes off with someone else. he will continue to do this if you marry him. leave him and go off and take care of yourself. you deserve better.

Wow, yeah he's a jerk. Do not waste any more time on him, please. That is crazy. He wasn't ready to get married and instead of just saying so he had to hurt you in the worse way instead of just being honest in the beginning. Did he propose to you? How long have you even known him?

Let him go. He obviously was probably just engaged to you so that he could keep you off his back. I agree..pawn the ring and use it to go find another man. Tell everyone what a dog he is.

Pawn the engagement ring and take yourself on a nice singles cruise. Wow, what a jackass. Aren't you glad you found out now?

I agree with Officer_Bett, take yourself on vacation and don't give back the ring. He's a jerk, what's he doing looking to flirt with someone when he's engaged?

Doesn't matter what we think. It matters most that you are trying to get back with him. If you have a ring, I would give it back (that's me personally though) you may want to have it appraised and then get rid of it.
