I'm my husband's third wife we have no children, he is great about spliting time with me and his first son from his first marriage. He meets his son every sunday at his first wife's house to spend the day with him. The son doesn't live with his mother it's just a place to meet (and he's renovation the house so the son doesn't have to work 40hours) If we go to a resturant than he has to make it up to his first son by taking him to a resturant. He never sees or speaks to his second son and second ex wife. But the first ex wife know everything about us where we vacation, work, drive, eat what kind of pets we have and were we spend christmas ect. We've been married for 23 years and I'm tried of his first ex wife being in my day to day life...I guess it will never stop and I should be happy that there all so happy together...

Are women like Britney Spears and such doing young girls/women a disservice with their behavior? Hoardes of young women are growing up afraid to be smart - insisting on being dumb and sexy even at ages like 8. I have seen girls who are just KIDS who's parents let them have sexually suggestive slogans written on their clothes.

All in the name of "girl power". More like "wh o re power", don't you think?

My own 16 year old daughter was suffering from this until my husband and I took more control over her life. She simply couldn't write or say anything without using this idiotic language that young girls especially feel they have to use for boys to like them. And "singles and dating" is filled every day with "HELP I am almost 12 and I have never had a boyfriend!".

If girls spend their energy portraying themselves as stupid pieces of fluff that's how they are going to be treated. And then these idiots grow up and demand respect. Ain't gonna happen.

Agree?

My dad told me the other day that I would never be too old for him to spank me (I am 20 and married now). I told my husband this and he said if I did something really bad I deserved a spanking and wasn't going to try to talk him out of it. I thought once I got married, I would be considered given away by my father and given to my husband so then he would take over as the authority figure in my life.....I want to know what others think. Thanks!

My husband tells me he misplaces his viagra then gets his prescription refilled. I found extra bottles (in all he had three) with a some pills in two and a full script (8 pills) in the third. I didn't say anything but filed it away. When we were going to use it the other day, I asked him where the other bottles were and he blew up and went into a rage, saying there wasn't more bottles. I stood my ground and insisted there was. He finally "remembered" and pulled one bottle with 6 pills out from a hiding place in one of his shoes in his closet! He then said he put them there because we were fighting at the time. My point was this. "why not hide all of it then?" BTW we were not fighting, and besides, I don't take it! Why hide viagra from me. I could possibly imagine a wife hiding her husbands viagra if SHE were mad at him. It really makes no sense. He said he became angry because I asked him the question and that I should trust him. Thanks in advance for your input.

i think its a good idea if men wanted to cohabitate w/ a woman before marriage it would be a good idea to live in a state where there is no common law marriage like virginia. it would beneficial to both sides. the couple could live together w/out marriage at first & in time if they wanted marriage they could take the next step or if they decide after a period of time they don't want to take the next step, the couple could split w/out a long drawn out divorce. they would in effect be no hard feelings & the people involved could take whatever they brought to the marriage. i'm just looking for some opinions that's all. i don't want to insult anyone & if i did i'm very sorry.

Did/does it turn you off of intimacy? Why or why not? Is there anything she could have done differently for you to become attracted to her again?

Reason for asking is I am going on 26 wks pregnant, and the sex has been on an increasing decline. At one time he couldn't get enough of me, now he can go a couple weeks without it!! I have only gained in the tummy, and am nice and toned everywhere else. Any suggestions, will his attraction ever come back?

Okay, I know men are allowed to have more than one wife according to the Bible BUT I think if men do have other girlfriends they need to tell their wives about it first so they will know what's going on. It's only right, you know?

My wife is on Lexapro because when she is not on them she is a raging _____. Unfortunatly she has completely lost her sex drive. She has tried other types of antidepressants as she has discussed this with her doctor but they do not work as well as Lexapro does so she went back to that type. Maybe I should try to go on Lexapro myself and kill my own sex drive? Anybody with ideas please help!!! Thanks!!!!!

Please be honest. I would like this question to be directed at regular every day married men (or men that have alot of married friends). Men that are responsible, hold a job, take care of their family, kids, etc. Not young boys, lazy, no-good men, etc.

Looking at your buddies, friends, co-workers, other men that you are around that fit my description above... what percentage would you guess of these men cheat on their spouses at SOME point in their life. Married only. Here's my example, please modify it by your experiences:

10% Never
20% Once
30% Several Times
40% Life-long secret relationship

Please make sure it equals 100%. Just copy and paste with your own percentages. THANKS in advance!!!!

we stop dating 2 months ago, the reason we stop dating is that she's dealing with emotional problems due to her last relationship of 8 years in which her x confess that he cheated on her the whole entire time. in which she's not ready for anything serious. but 2 weeks ago, we bump into each other n sparks reignited, we hung out the entire week and weekend, then into last week she became cold, toward the end of the week she began to ask me to hang out, we hung out this weekend so i decided to get her something for x mas, i got her something not cheap but not expensive something that she will love. so last night i went to give it to her, she said NO NO NO i cant accept this, I said don t worry about it, its just a gift i brought everyone gifts so its not a big deal she said Yeah but i didnt get u anything (i knew this) n i told her dont worry about it so she told me let me mail u a x mas card later on she left me a message saying i dont know how much to thank u

what do u think?

Is it that men don't want to talk to their spouse about sex and it's easier to find someone to have sex with? Or is it men need that new feeling of being attractive to other women?

I can tell she is still longing for him.Things just havent been the same. She has no interest in sex with me at all. It seems she occupies her day doing things to keep her busy. She met him at a bar and a relationship started at her work on the phone and in emails while at work or after. She insists that it has ended but I still have no way of knowing what is going on at her work. She can email and talk on the phone at work and I would never know. I keep asking her to be honest with me she says its over. I keep asking about what's gong on. What do I do?

Do some of you have to be able to counsel about marriage? I have posted a few questions and found a lot of very good answers through you guys..I was just wondering if there any true counselors amongst you or what type of education and background do you have? I'm trying to figure out if education has anything to do with a more efficient way to handle issues in marriage.....Just curious!

Been w/ wife for 15 years, last summer had a falling out she sought company elsewhere (read affair). Recently, we decided to try to work it out - talked to, confronted & forgave each other, why we drifted apart & how we can rebuild, etc, etc. Been a little over a month & seems we are doing well.
Problem is: my wife’s cheating partner is 500mi away & calls to him have stopped, but in her dresser I found some pictures of him left from when the affair was going on.

Should I confront her about this & how? Isn’t this a double standard? I feel I’ve violated her trust by snooping. If you are committed to rebuilding a marriage wouldn’t you cut off all contact & get rid of anything that you shared during your affair like e-mails, letters, pictures, etc.? Am I missing something?
