Okay, I know men are allowed to have more than one wife according to the Bible BUT I think if men do have other girlfriends they need to tell their wives about it first so they will know what's going on. It's only right, you know?

Do I think a man should tell his wife that he has a girlfriend? NO.
Do I think any wife should tell her husband about a boyfriend? NO.
Because in a perfect world, NO married person would do that to the one they loved enough to marry. There would be no boyfriends/girlfriends of married people. They would stay faithful to their vows, their promises and they would have the personal honor not to cheat. But this world is far from perfect. ***(SIGH)***

First of all honey, don't quote the Bible if you don't know what your talking about. Yes, in the old testament some men such as Soloman has as many as 700 wives, but that doesn't mean God liked it.
Secondly, I'm guessing you are the wife in question and you just found out your hubby has a little piece on the side. Chances are he didn't tell you because Adultery is the one thing you can take him to divorce court and clean him out. It's also the only way {that I know of} that the Church will allow a divorce. So it's in his best interest to not tell you. DUH!
EDIT: I have seen your name on some other postings and while you tend to use the Bible in your answers, your usually wrong. You need to get a better grasp of what your quoting, especially if your going to use it as advice for others.

Your reference to the Bible is incorrect. A man should only have wives, not a wife and a girlfriend. In the New Testament there are verses that suggest having only one wife is good. The man should not have a girlfriend, that is committing adultry. Telling the wife is not going to make anything any better. The best thing for the man to do is stop having relations with the girlfriend.

Really when you are married it is to one person for life being one of the opposite sex. That adultery is a sin and that when you are joined in marriage you are to be like one bonded together for eternity.
I think whatever bible your reading you have either misunderstood a passage or your not reading the Holy Bible but one made up like the book of mormon for instance or maybe if your a muslim or live in India it is okay.
I think your totally messed up one man, one woman period there is no prosmiscuity in marriage or even in a serious relationship.
I do think a man should tell just so he can get slapped, kicked in the balls and sent packing for being a piece of scum. For
a girl you got some learning to do.

What bible is this? Honestly, if some guy is telling that to you, he should get his head examined. Both heads, really :p
A guy should certainly tell you if he has a girlfriend up front. If you only find out about it halfway through the relationship, dump him quick and go find your own bible on how women are true rulers of the planet lol (I'm sure there is a version that says this, every religion throughout history has had their own rewriting of it to prove their own narrow views on the subject. ;) )

If a man who is married has a girlfriend, that man needs to lose his wife! And I am he will do the same to the "girlfriend" what woman would want a relationship like that? Better yet what man out there is worth it? No man makes to much money or looks to good for me to belittle myself and live in a relationship that involves a cheating man.

It may be ok according to the "OLD" Bible, but it is ILLEGAL to be married to more than one person at a time. Even the Mormon church has stopped this. If my husband tells me he has a girlfriend he better be 1000 miles away so the bullet won't reach him. No married person should have any other girlfriend or boyfriend at all.

Men are not allowed to have more than one wife according to the Bible. And, not many men are going to fess up to having an affair unless they get caught.

in the bible you are referring to the old testament, that section is not followed (Christianity), due to being adultery. As for men committing adultery, that will be something they will have to answer for on judgment day whether you believe or not. Should a man tell his wife.....if he did, and she was smart, she would not tolerate such an act against their relationship.

What Bible do u read.....don't tell to many men about that Bible-They'll swear by it----- my co worker just told me you must be a morman Sorry. I didn't know such a bible existed....Well in that case you should give her a New King James version Bible & let her read the new testament.....then if she believes in that tell her about her hubby's girl toy
