"True in love ever be unless thy lover's false to thee." The minute you cheated on your wife and she kept you around she was under no obligation to be faithful. "What's good for the goose is good for the gander."

Don't blame it on bad blood. Your male role model cheated so you were taught that it is a mans right and all the baloney. But you are an adult and can make your own decisions. How did you feel when your dad cheated on your mom?
I don't think your wife should have retaliated by cheating on you, but sometimes this happens; she wanted you to feel what it is like and it isn't so pleasant. Hopefully you two can clean the slate now and begin a mature adult relationship and quit playing all these games.

The only question you have to ask yourself and your mate is do you want to spend the rest of your lives working together for your mutual good, and are your paths still leading in the same direction.
Love is build day by day, It is fragile but It can always be patched.
I don't know why we spend so much of our time trying to OWN our partners. Monogamy is a gift we give each other. We can always start giving it anew.
You two need to talk. If you love her start dating her all over again. Rekindle the sparks that brought you together in the first place and start anew, Totally ERASING THE PAST, from any future thoughts.

Go to her and start a conversation whether she wants to talk or not. Start with these 3 words
I NOW UNDERSTAND! Tell her you knew you hurt her but until the tables turned you were not able to comprehend how bad you hurt her. Apologize (AGAIN) then tell her you love her and knowing how it feels to be cheated on you'll never make the mistake again! Then try to go to marriage counseling from there.
Good Luck & God Bless

Textbook scenario....very common and happens alot...it's called a revenge affair...just learn from it and move on..
Okay it seems like you really have remorse for what happened..Here's the deal..Both of you, and I do mean both, need to feel 100% that you want to make it work...I think you will find that she might be less inclined..however let's say that she wants your relationship to work 100% . You two will have to start over from scratch. You need to start dating her, get her to fall back in love with you...It's hard work with all that damage..think restoring an old car with very little to work with. Go dancing, picniking, cuddling, conversating, having new goals, dreams and a new future. You have to start all over and forgive her and she needs to forgive you also. It's probably one of the toughest things that you will ever have to do...and will take so much work that honestly, I think I would take some time to work on myself and start over with someone new..new foundation, new love and 100% trust..just me

This is a now win situation all the way around. If the two of you together want to try and work it out get some type of counseling, but you have a long road ahead of you.

Like i tell people here all the time "pay back is a mother fu**er" now you know how it feels you wish you could take your cheating back, don't you? Two wrongs sometimes make things right..

I hope the other man is a better speller. What exactly are you asking us for?
The fact that you are blaming "bad blood" shows that you are not ready to accept responsibility for what you did. You obviously convinced yourself of this to make cheating easier on your guilt...grow up.

Dude... calm down. If both of you want to stay together on the one hand, but have sex with other people on the other - sit down and talk it over. Maybe you can agree to have an open relationship. Look up a swingers' club or something. What's the point in doing it behind each other's backs?

Well since you both cheated on each other, there is obviously something missing and wrong in your relationship. You guys should maybe go to councelling and see if it is something you both feel that you can move on from.
