Thanks to so many people who have provided so many wonderful examples of the nice things our spouses/partners have done for us! Some very sweet answers got thumbs down from some people and I don't know why!

Before my fiance and I were engaged (actually we had just started going out), my sister was coming from another state (where we grew up) to live with me. I flew there and then we drove back together. I was so busy with school that I didn't get time to clean my spare bedroom that I had previously used as an eBay room -- it was an embarrassing mess! I also didn't have time to buy a bed for her yet.
When we arrived back in town, the spare bedroom was SPOTLESS and my fiance (then boyfriend) had borrowed a futon from a friend and set up a bedroom for her -- he had never even met her but he knew my sister was so important to me and he wanted to alleviate my stress.
I knew he was the guy for me and that was in like week one!!
Since then he has done the most amazingly nice things for no reason -- from big things like installing speakers in my house or cleaning my car as a surprise when I'm out of town visiting my family, to little things like making me dinner, making me green chile stew when I'm sick, etc. He is the most amazing guy ever. :)

I came home from work after a long few weeks with no days off and he had made the bed and on my pillow was a red rose and some chocolate.

He does more than 50% of the housework and cooks dinner 3 nights per week. He's a sweetie! He also surprised me with a trip to Disney World for Christmas last year!

My spouse bought me a new bass guitar.I am a musician and I think that was the nicest thing she has ever done for me.

you name it, he's done it:)
just to name a few:
1) on our aniversaries he ceans the house and gets my favorite foods for me
2) often cooks dinner without being asked
3) surprises me with doing something I was planning on doing
4) takes me out unexpectedly
5) when I mentioned wanting a particular jewelry, he went seaching for it all over town
I can't even recall all of the things he does:) But I wanted to thank you, because you reminded me how great my husband is:)

He got up at 4 am and made me chocolate covered strawberries for no reason whatsoever.
What an awesome guy.

Let me see my wife will give me a shoulder massage just for no reason while I'm doing something on the computer or just relaxing which is just awesome. She has an angels touch and well it just feels great.
