If it's not adultery, you don't. If she has committed adultery on you you'll need to see a divorce attorney, only if you are not willing to forgive.

If you have passed the point of for better or worst, for richer or poorer, then I guess divorce is o.k. When the vows you took are no longer a covenant with God then I guess that is when you go to divorce court.

I guess when the pressure is on about bills, friends, family you no longer forsake everyone else, except for each other, then by all means get a divorce.

When you did not know what you were doing when you got married, yeah, that's a good excuse go on and pay your way out of it.

I'm not ragging on ya or trying to make you feel bad. I know it might sound like it, but I just want you to think this thing over very carefully, not while angred or under complulsion before you make such a drastic decision.

Depends on what state your in. In the state of Texas...if you r not fighting over anything...you can simply go to the court library and ask for a pro se divorce handbook. They will make copies of all the forms you need and the book will walk you through all the legal terminology and how to fill the divorce papers out (even if you have kids). Once you turn the papers in you will be notifyed by mail to appear before the judge and he talks to you and signs the papers...end of story!!! Or if your state laws aren't as simple ...get a lawyer!!!

Talk to a divorce attorney who will help you with what you need to do so that all legal requirements are met.

Some will give you 30 minutes free time to talk so you can get more comfortable about talking to one without being charged and so you can find one you are comfortable with talking.

If there is nothing like kids involved and it's pretty much an even split, you can sometimes work though a mediator at a much cheaper cost. It's sometimes a service provided by local Government or local government entity.

easiest way is to contact a lawyer. a standard divorce in Ri costs around 650
or, you go to the courthouse and get the papers, fill them out,,, just asks about assets and stuff. if u dont know where he lives it is a pain, you have to go down and put an ad in the local paper advertising the divorce becasue technically he has to know about it, and then the sheriff serves him papers (if u know where he lives or works) and then they send u a court date and viola, DIVORCED!
