get married???? i constantly see people on here complaining about how marriage is boring and they want the freedom to sleep around. didnt they think about this before they got married? i mean we all know marriage requires sleeping with that one person. i mean if your spouse completely cuts you off from sex then maybe i can understand.(its still wrong..just more understandable). but seriously, why do people who know monogamy isnt their cup o' tea bother getting married??? why dont they still single or find someone to marry who agrees with open marriage???

i hate my dad mayb he never abused us (unless slapping me when i was 6 mnths for not eating my food counts and getting slapped everyday even when i was like 4) but this is how my life was w/ him almost everyday.....he'd come home look for everything 'messy' in the house and yell at us pretty much everyday.............and it doesn't sound bad but u shud see him when he gets mad it's scary as **** (not as much after 15 yrs of seeing it but he still has gotten my leg to shake sometimes)

I had two really close people in my life about 3 yrs ago they were both my bestfriends and bestfriends with each other and I dated them both (not at the same time) we were like 3 peas in a pod we went to a small school (my class was 12) we had a blast growing up but....I went off to college and I met my future husband and he is the most amazing man I could ever ask for but I can t help but think about my two old friends or exs from 3 yrs ago I keep thinking about them and my husband soesnt like them much only because I dated them and thats it were all friends on myspace but I never talk to them and I dont know what to do why I keep thinking about them at all? we live in LA and they live in Oregon I feel like I want to have a freidnship with them like I need one with them but I cant....does this make sence am I crazy?

My husband is on the computer for 6-7hrs/night after work. He says this is what he likes to do. We are losing touch with each other and fast, but he doesn't seem to care, sometimes not getting to bed until after midnight and he went on at 4:00pm. We have talked about this "obsession" and it gets better for a week and then back to old ways. I'm hurt and scared we have nothing in common and I am tired of competing with the internet. What is normal time on the computer (I say 2hrs is generous) How can we work on our marriage if he cant tear himself away from the computer long enough?

I'm not looking to date or screw her. But, if she wasn't married, I'd have already tried to, uh...got 'r done!

This girl is drop dead gorgeous, great figure, face, and all. I had a seminar class with her this semester and have sat across the conference room table from her. I betcha I've counted 10-12 times this semester where I've caught her giving me direct eye contact or otherwise immediately in my direction, NOT always vice versa. (I'm not conceited, but I am observant.) She's always been real friendly (not really flirty, though) when we've talked.

Even the other day, I did horrendous on a presentation; people were laughing at me during the pres. I wasn't even whining or looking for sympathy and she still told me I did fine.

I have dark curly hair, blue eyes, a nice smile, and the "shadow" makings of a beard, if you will. Wear plain clothes but have clean appearance.

I wonder what about me she sees and why she'd be looking at me. Help me understand this, married women!

A few days ago, my husband and i were watching a movie together. He left to get a drink and while he was gone i began watching a TLC's What not to wear. When he got back i asked if the skirt the woman was wearing was nice. It started this argument about wearing skirts. I have an internship coming up and like to dress up once in awhile. My husband does not want me wearing dresses in public. He says it is fine if i wear non nude colored tights.We didn't fight very long, but my husband was so bothered by the skirt tiff he slept on the couch. I told him to start acting like my husband and stop worrying about every little thing.

Why does this issue bother my husband soo much. He was so bothered that he didn't even want to talk to me anymore. I do not understand what I did.
I dress very conservatively in public.
I just want to dress in a skirt that goes past the knee once in awhile, with dark tights

i spoke to my husband's ex gf on the internet, she thought it was him. she reminded that they had seen each other before his move to vegas, she also reminded him that once he told her that he didn't like me...i'm worried he says it's not true and i've told him that in order for me to believe him he has to call her and i want to listen to her say it's not true. now why would she be lying? specially to him she didn't know it was me. another thing is that he keeps on going in turns and telling me that he's going to get her number but hasn't done it, it's been now about 2 wks. or so...how do i know if he's lying and she is telling the truth or if it's the other way around....please help me??? :(

I stopped talking to my mother, step father, sister and brother because of child abuse issues and dysfunctional family issues. They befriended my husband's ex-wife and the ex-wife now takes my step-children to their house to visit them. This is all just to make me mad, which it doesn't, but I'm concerned for my step children. I told the ex-wife about the child abuse, but she says she is with them the whole time. My step children know that I don't have a relationship with my family, so I can't imagine how confused they must be. I'm very careful about what to say to them since they are only 7 & 8. Basically my family (psychos) and the ex-wife have NO problem telling children things they shouldn't know which includes bad mouthing me and my husband. The ex-wife even has them lying to their father about seeing my family. I'm considering either getting a restraining order or filing charges against my family for the abuse. What would you do if you were in this situation?

i have been married to my husband for 2 and a half years, we have a 5 month old boy. we have had great times, and some really rough arguments and fights..
during an argument today he told me to get the **** out of his face ( i wsnt in his face) he called me a ***** and told me that the only reason he is still with me is because i have pittied him into staying with me.
i feel so hurt, i have worshiped the ground he walks on but cant keep going through this. i think its time to call it quits.. he told me twice that he hates me today... and that im a slob and i wasted 2 years of his life.. wow

I have been married for a year and a half. My parents are divorced and never really had a functional pattern of relating, and I don't feel like I have a baseline of what is "normal." Of course, toward the beginning of our relationship, we were blissfully happy and thought we were different than every other couple - and so lucky to have found true, healthy love. Now, a year and 1/2 later, all of the bad patterns have surfaced. He has a father who is emotionally abusive to his mother, and I sometimes get the same kind of treatment. When I stand up for myself, he says I am being a "*****." We probably have sex about 1x a month- he says he's just lost his sex drive (though I think it's really just that I'm 'old news,' because the women in his porn seem to arouse him.) We have a lot of blaming happening- a lot of "you started it." How much of this is normal?? How disappointed were you in the early years of marriage? How do I work through it and overcome feeling l deserve better?

i am a good student with a gpa of 4.0
well, we had to right this 7 page report and as my dad was admitted in the hospital i did not get the time to finish my paper....
i finished it last night ...in a day i wrote a 7 page paper!
so i email him my paper and he graded it today..
and guess what ????? i get a 100!!!!
i mean that was not my best work and i know that!!!

So he comes home today and announces that he wants a baby and if I wont have her for him (it has to be a girl) that he has already found a serrogate mother. But regardless we are going to raise her together. Ok that sounds crazy in its self but...
We already have 4 kids (his 2 my 1 and our 1)
He doesnt help do anything for them
Our son is 2 1/2 and he hasnt helped me with daycare not even one cent
We fight nonstop (not in front of kids)

Why on earth would he even joke about having another baby?? I really dont even think hes joking - he went so far as to tell my 7 year old that we are going to have a baby.

4months ago me & my husband had a heated arguement( i have no idea what it was about, it was that petty).my husband walked out on a weds night & didnt come home,i rang him worried and he told me he was at his mums.then 3 days later i see my mother inlaw in town and she blanks me and her 2 grandaughters,i was really un happy about this as we always had a close relationship and i would always be recieving phone calls from her to see how i and the children was,but nothing!when i spoke to my husband i asked him what he had said to make her behave this way,he promised all he told his family was that we argued thats it,so she had done it through spite,come sunday my husband was back & we was 100%happy again,but still no phone call from mum inlaw,then i was told by a friend the my bro inlaws girlfriend had been calling me & saying that the rest of the family had been calling me to,i dont know what i had done to deserve this,i still havnt spoke to them,x-mas is comin do i need to sort this????

I am seriously searching for another job but until I land it maybe some of you folks can offer me a bit of advice on how to deal with this nutcase? It's just a part-time job in which I work 9-2 M-Thurs. as his assistant. He's a one-man office. He's let me go once saying he couldn't afford to pay me then hired me back a month later saying he could only pay me Mon-Thurs. Thus he's gone out since and purchased a new home, two new cars, new cell phone, etc. The business bank account is always overdrawn. The money he is charged in overdraft fees could pay me for 2-3 weeks! He always leaves the office and says "I won't be back" then 30 minutes later he always shows back up - like he's trying to catch me doing something. I just look at him weird and don't say anything. I'm always working so no thrill for him. He's a Type A bipolar arrogant jerk - I've managed to work for him going on 2 years and I just can't take anymore. Why is he such a jerk to me when all I do is help him?
