Do you think that two persons with completely different interests/hobbies can get along?
The girl I love has a completely different interests and hobbies.

I'm looking for a serious relationship, and if it worked out we may end up married, but would it?!

When I imagine myself married, it's always me sitting in a room listening to classical music or on my computer, and she is in a different room reading the newspaper or solving the crosswords, then, I see myself forced to watch the movies she likes and listening to her music just to "spend time together and try to make it work" and vice-versa. We won't have anything in common to chat about, etc.

You see my point? surely not nice huh?

We spent the weekend with my inlaws. Yesterday, we were all playing cards and I got up to get something to drink. After I was done pouring my drink I turned back around and saw my mother inlaw and husband whispering. My father inlaw was sitting next to them but I don’t think he was paying any attention to them. I asked what they were whispering about in a joking way, and my husband said “I wasn’t whispering about anything” and it said it as if he was placing the blame on his mother. So I looked at her and she didn’t say anything. I sat back down and continued to play cards but I was pissed and stopped talking. Not even 15 to 20 minutes later I was turned around watching the football game, waiting for my husband to shuffle the cards. I turned back around and they were whispering again and my husband was the one talking. He was moving his hands and when I looked at him he played it off. I was livid at this point and about ready to tell him to take me home.

I got married when I was 17. My grandmother had temporary custody of me when she signed the papers. My father had complete custody of me but was letting me live with her for awhile. He did not give consent, my grandmother did. Is my marriage legal? I hope its not. But I wanted to know for sure.

My hubby &I have have just come out of some serious stuff. He began chatting with other women online & txt.this made me insecure &I began snooping. this made the stuff worse coz he just saw me as a woman who had major issues. well, I took care of my issues &he did the same.He never saw this as cheating , but I felt it was. anyway I stopped going thru his phone &things. one of the major things I had with all this is that some of the women, he met online so I told him that it made me uneasy to know that he still has a hi5 profile but I was going to trust him. he said that he was going to get rid of all the women he might cause problems. well ,we just got him a laptop &saturday night , he was doing a lot of research for his upcoming court case. I came to kiss him good night &saw that he was browsing the pictures &profile of a woman on facebook.it kind of took me by surprise . anyway , last night I told him that seeing him going thru that womans pictures kind of made me a bit uncomfortable

My husband and I ran into some fnancial problems and we were in danger of being forclosed. He wanted us to tell our families but I told him that I wasn't ready for that. Right now, it's OUR problem and since we seem to be getting control of the situation, there really isn't much to tell. I gave him a few other reasons why we should hold off telling them.

This weekend, just before we walked out the house on our way to see his mom, he says to me "By the way, I told my mom about our financial problems." I couldn't even react. I felt so betrayed and violated. I asked him when this happened. His response -- "last week".

Now he's telling me that I'm overreacting. That he ddn't set out to tell her . . . "it just happened". The more he gave me details & excuses on how "It just happened", then angrier I got. When I asked why it took him so long to at least tell me he'd told her, he said that he forgot. Am I being unreasonable by feeling betrayed and violated?

My so called "friend w/benefits" that I've only known a month has been "sick" this last weekend. He hasn't been calling or texting me like he usually does several times a day. Friday night he told me he didn't feel good and had been sleeping all day. Saturday morning I sent him a text & asked how he was doing & he said ok & I told him if he wanted to do something later to just let me know. Saturday night he sent me a text & he was about to go to bed b/c he didn't feel good. Sunday afternoon I sent him a text to see how he was & he said he's sick as a dog and that he's been out of it all day. I never heard back from him and I still haven't heard from him yet today. He usually texts me in the morning and throughout the day and at night. Do you think he really is sick or is he just trying to let me go? He had said he wants us to be fwb & hopefully grow into something more...he knows I just got divorced. Any thoughts?...maybe I should give him a little more time to see?

I left my country my family friends and job to come and be with my husband. We have been married 1 year it was only just our anniversary. But i think i want out. I love him only i think more as a friend now. He promised he would quit smoking once we got married and he has not yet. We have talked about it several times yet still needs more time. I hate smoking but have given him time to quit. But he has broke his promise. I now feel he just lied to me to so i would marry him. He also told me he does not like kisses i want kisses and some passion all i get are pecks on the cheek i wish he told me this before we got married. I want so much more we dont have sex as much as id like i have told him, but nothing changes. I am really unhappy...i miss my family and friends and my job. I dont work im a house wife im tired of cleaning...esp after his dog he gets everywhere the dog hair drives me crazy and muddy paws. This is not the life i thought i would have is it bad to want out.

I have been making the money in my family since we got married. We have 2 kids, one in daycare and the other in school. Im spending $400 in daycare a month even though my husband sits at home all day. When he gets money he thinks he is entitled to the entire amount because it was handed to him. How do I get him to realize that he has to start helping with the bills and kids?

This weekend my husband had some projects to do around the house and I tried to help him when he needed me. He got frustrated with the project and snapped at me. So I just went and found something to do to stay out of his way. Then when the day was over and the kids were in bed, I made an flirty overture to him and he turned me down flat. He was too focused on this project still. So my feelings were hurt, and I tried to talk to him but he got all angry, told me to go **** myself and "what did I want from him" and "You're acting just like your mother." So the next day I am a little gun shy - not knowing how to act or what to say. I helped my son with his science project and my husband wouldn't leave me alone the whole time (didn't help but kept interrupting me where he hadn't spoke to me most of the day). I was kinda quiet the rest of the night and he was overly attentive then. I am tired of being called needy when I just want a little affection and cussed out for it. Advice?

Isn't it interesting I posted a question "What are 4 reasons a husband leaves a wife?" and most women given replies such as "new woman, no more sex, etc things that would look men bad (though some women posted more things like infidelity lack of love and in a similiar question "What are 4 reasons a wife leaves a husband?" some women replied by saying infidelity new woman things to make the man look bad

isn't that just interesting how a majority of women have a double standard?

This girl says she found the number and decided to call to see how my husband was doing. She left info that she was married with two kids. My mother-in-law told my husband this in front of me. Do you think her motives were innocent (the mother in law)? My husband can't think of who it could be. I'm not worried, but thought it was wierd that she would share such info with us. My mom would never do this. What do you think?

My husband, and his ex have been divorced for 16 years. She has lupus, and occassionally is hospitalized. Each time this happens, he goes to visit her everyday that she is in the hospital. I told him that is disrespectful to me, he is not obligated to her, the marriage has been over for a long time. I don't mind if he visited her once, but he acts as if it's something he's suppose to do.

i left my wife for my girlfriend and i also caught my wife cheating on me with my friend. the divorce has been a bitter long and still happening action.....1 child 7yr old boy. i want custody and she always pawns him off to her parents....the problem......the girlfriend is sick of my constant whining and complaining and she wants out. the whining and complaining is due to the lengthy divorce. we are awesome together and i love her with all my heart, but the high stress of my job and being a fire chief (volunteer for this)also stresses it because of a small town thing. i do not want to lose my girlfriend because of the whining and complaining of myself...please help....
