Marriage & Divorce - 26 November 2007

We had been together 6.5 years before we married this past April. In August he told me he was no longer in love with me anymore. I admit we were in a rut, but who isn't after 6.5-7 years of being together. He did not want counseling. Now that I've asked him to go through with the divorce for closure, he decides that he isn''t sure. The thought of losing me forever kills him and thinks that he still loves and misses me. Deep down i want it to work, he doesn't know what he wants, but i know he needs help emotionally. I'm on an emotional rollercoaster that i just want to get off of. He deals with depression and has this "grass is always greener on the other side" attitude.

We see the signs and yet we marry that person anyway and then realize that we should have ended the relationship in the first week. We spend years with someone who lies to us and mistreat us. Why do we stay????

My wife finally admitted to haveing an affair w/ a married man before we were together. She could no longer deny the trail of evidence I discovered. I accept her explanation that she was in a lonely vulnerable period in her life (she was) and he made her feel good. He is extremely wealthy and seduced her to the highest degree. I am both bothered and grateful that their romance ended when I entered the picture but that they remained friends. I can't get past the fact that they shared this secret past and didn't see the harm that could come by not ending their relationship completely. I have met him several times (w/o his wife) and I feel like I have been betrayed. I know they would have both realized that it was an insult to me to sit down for dinner and have me be in the dark about their history. My wife and I are trying to work it out, I still love her dearly. I can't help but want to put a scare into this man for the disrespect he has shown me.

its been 11 years since my parents split, still they hate each others guts, my mum blames EVERYTHING on my dad since the split, he was unfaithful to her but stuff since then he cant really be held responsible for! why cant she move on she has a new partner as does he!

My husband is a Corporal in the National Gaurd upon returning back from his training in july he came home to find he no longer had a job. he is being deployed in jan so he had four different training dates from august to dec, all at least three weeks in length. so This made finding a job next to impossible. Finally a company hired him and he worked for about a month before being layed off due to plant shut down. the money he has made on his training has been just enough to keep us afloat. we have three daughters which we have kept in the dark on this situation, but i dont know what we are going to do for christmas. he has one more session of training before he leaves and that wont cover our bills let alone buy gifts for our girls. I hate to ask anyone for help but at this point i dont think we have a choice. my girls are losing their daddy for a year and a half and i hate to make things worse for them at christmas. so any help would be appreciated I just need information. THANK YOU

i had family over for the holidays and my husband really don't like having a bunch of kids around, but he said it was ok and did fine! but yestrurday (sunday) we were going to drive by a house and look, and when we walked out of the computer room, my puppy ran out, he is used to me closing the door, and my husband kicked him, i said you don't have to kick my dog! not in a mean or bad way, and he just got all irate and told me if i said anything else he would file bankrupcy and walk with nothing but what he has on his back, i asked him what i did, he wouldn't answer me! then about 5 min after we quit talking he walked out, and come back 2 1/2 hours later!! and i was packing!! he asked me to stay atleast till the sale of our other property was final, so we could pay off some bills including my car!! ok i agreed, and we talked for about an hour! he kept saying i have changed since i found my sister, and i have lost all interest, but won't tell me in what way!!!!
