A little clarification. One, I am not talking about myself. Two, I am not talking about trusting them at first then losing that trust. I'm saying the trust has never been there. Three, there is a difference between being in love and loving someone.

Of course you can. Love and trust are two different emotions. Now whether or not you can actually BE with them without that trust, that's for you to decide. But from my own personal experience, I will say that trust can be lost and found again. But like I said that's up to you to decide.

You can remain in love with the memory of what this person was to you before the betrayal, however, I don't believe there can be love without trust in who this person is to you now.

A not so easy test: Ask yourself, if you met this person today and did not trust them, would you want a relationship with this person?

I believe, you can be in love with what was but not with what is if there is no trust. Look at it this way...trust is the glue that holds your foundation solid and without it the first gust of wind will crumble your home.

I think you can. It's really complicated.
When u are in love without alot of trust, it causes you to be insecure and suspicious but if you had the "in love" part, it also causes you to be hurt.

I know most will say there is no love without trust but I've seen it, and it's can happen. Trust can be earned back depending on how it was lost.

Yes, a person can love a person who doesn't care or like them, so you can love someone who you cannot trust, but it isn't healthy. If you cannot trust the person you, they are not worthy of your love or you have trust issues. In either case, you will be always double guessing everything they say or do. You need to examine if it is them or you. If it is them, you need to seek counseling or break it off with them. If it is you, you need to seek counseling to address these trust issues. God bless.

You can be in love with them, but you can't make the relationship work.....

And you would have had to of trusted them in the first place to fall in love, unless you place a high priority in mistrust for some odd reason......

I believe you can still be in love with them, but without trust it can be a very painful, and incomplete love.
