i am a good student with a gpa of 4.0
well, we had to right this 7 page report and as my dad was admitted in the hospital i did not get the time to finish my paper....
i finished it last night ...in a day i wrote a 7 page paper!
so i email him my paper and he graded it today..
and guess what ????? i get a 100!!!!
i mean that was not my best work and i know that!!!
do you think that he gave me that grade coz he likes flirting with me or something? man.that sucks!
i mean i know that i deserve a 80 or something
what do i do? i even got a 100 on my midterm.....even though my essay was not perfect
DO U THINK THERE IS SOMETHING FISHY HERE?

He could be trying to hint at you. Some professors are scum who try to get girls to have sex with them. Take the grades but don't take the flirting. That is unprofessional of him and if it continues you should report it to the school.

Smile, say thanks, and continue to do the best you can. No one gets through life without a little help from their friends. Don't be surprised when you are no longer his student that he may try to ask you out. When you finish with his class, simply stay as far away from him as possible for as long as possible. That way his feelings will get a chance to subside and there will be enough time that if he does ask you out, you can tell him you are already seeing someone. Don't just tell him no but give him a GOOD reason that you can not go out with him if you don't want to. Another boyfriend is the best answer.

enjoy your easy "A" grade. it keeps the gpa where it is. The flirting is another thing - just act flattered but do not respond to any advances. It is always nice to be admired. Appreciate and enjoy his attention, appreciate his grades and let it go at that. Remember - no reciprocation at all. If he starts grading you lower because you do not respond, take it up with the dean as sexual abuse. Oh, in answer to your question, "what does he want"? He wants you. Something is fishy but do not take the bate.

He may not be grading your stuff. Though they would never admit it, some professors, overwhelmed with their volume of student reading, gloss over papers and give grades -- maybe give you the benefit of a good grade because of previous good work.
Maybe you got a little lucky.

If he thinks you're attractive, then yes...He could be giving you extra credit for looking good. lol
But even so, at least he's not asking you to come to his office in the after hours. Ride out the rest of the semester and be happy for the good grades.

You must not be that good looking. If you were, you would be used to attention like this from men.
Your gut instinct is usually correct. He probably is flirting with you. Just finish the class and do not take another one of his classes.
If he persists or crosses any more lines, try talking to your university's "om buds" office.

seems like he is trying 2 hint that he wants u in the sack,avoid him cause u r there 4 an education,its not fair that he is flirting with u.aproach him and let him know he makes u feel uncomfortable.he could get in trouble,b careful.

Maybe he likes you. Maybe he just grades too easy. It doesn't really matter. You will have other professors who grade you too harshly and unfairly soon enough. Enjoy the easy As while you can get them.
