I'm not totally sure what you're asking. Having kids is important to a lot of people. It can be a big factor in a relationship if the two people feel differently about whether or not they should have children; relationships can easily end over this issue. Having children certainly shifts your priorities around and can put a strain on some marriages as the new parents find they have less time to devote to their relationship. But certainly, having children will not improve or "save" a bad relationship.

Umm YES, it can change the relationship. Are you asking if it's important to have children in a marriage or relationship is up to the individuals. Just because you are a couple does not mean you have to have kids.
Even though they are so worth it (especially for marriage. how wonderful it is when you are in love with someone and you two share a child together.) I think it can complete a marriage.

Yes! It's something to SERIOUSLY think about! Having a child changes everything, in a million wonderful ways and few crappy ones. You get no sleep, and priority number one is that child...it can put some distance on the relationships normal dynamic. But on the same note, it brings you closer than anyone else in the world because the two of you are sharing this experience that NO one else will ever understand!
Married new mommy! Love it!

I don't think that children should make or break a relationship. If there is a great amount of love, everything will be fine.
If the couple can't physically have children but would like to, adoption is always an option.
Otherwise they should just enjoy their time together and live, love and prosper.

Everyone has a different opinion on this. It depends on what matters to the couple. If they do not want to have children there is nothing wrong with that. You need to ask each other this question.

It should not matter. A child should only be a product of your love and nothing more. If your relationship depends on a child then it is not a relationship worth having.

children are a dealdreaker. anyone that says its all about love & stuff is nuts & needs to be on meds. before u have children u have to think "will that person be there for the rest of my life". children cost money they arent free. also its puts alot of stress on a relationship. alot of people have kids thinking it will save a relationship but it only crreates more resentment & pain. think before u act.

well, when you have children, it could fill an empty house, but it adds stress to the relationship, and is kind of like the glue for the marraige (having kids).
but if you are over 40, then don't have kids..

As long as a couple agrees one way or the other BEFORE getting married, it is totally their choice.
