Marriage & Divorce - 16 November 2007

Okay! I'm 19 years of age and is engage to my wonderful fiance; who I been with for the past two years. He is a ceo of his online company and I'm a student at college going for my bachlors in Psychology. He is 20 and I'm 19 as I stated. We are planning to buy Our first dream house which is a half of million dollars. 500k! I yes we could afford it becaus ehis income is well over 200,000 a year. The problem I have is I was raise on a single parent paycheck to paycheck with my mom and now my fiance is makeing all this money and we are about to get married and move into this house, I feel like i'm being lazy. Am I being lazy? He says I don't have to work, but I also go to school online, we have no kids and hardly any debt. Should I work? I never work a day in my life and couldn't tell you what work is. I don't have that ego that most women have to be independent to poves something and don't plan to! don't need to prove anything to anyone because if chips fall down I have my degree.

I have been with my husband for 5 years i love him very much but he has a horrible temper. He never has hit me he just calls me horrible names , like lazy , a ***** and the C**t word. He gets mad over really silly things. He breaks me down then tells me how sorry he is and it will never happen again how many chances can i give him. Im 30 dont want to be misreble the rest of my life . I hate when he screams in my face. WHat should i do ?

last night my ex who lives in the 2nd bedroom because of our mortgage sat beside me on the couch and asked if i wanted to share a blanket and watch tv with her. She left me qbout 3 months ago and hasnt shown me any emotion for the longest time. I turned down the opportunity and feel really bad about it. After i went to bed she crawled in beside me because it was to cold in her room. Am i wrong for feeling a bit used and confused about the cuddling aspect of the night. I never did put my arms around her.

I have been divorced now for over a year. I found out my ex hubby of 14 1/2 years had been lying and doing things behind my back. I gave him so many chances and finally got the divorce. We have 4 sons and now I find myself wondering what to do now. I have my own small buisness and have the home and my beautiful children. But seems the ex is still in the picture. I tell him that it is to painful and he needs to just see the kids but he gets mad and wants to get together again. He says he found God yet we still argue all the time. Always tells me no man will ever do for me all the tings he did. I am 38 years old, I am nice looking but I cant seem to get to know anyone new. I have lost so much self esteem I feel as though I walk with my head down and cant nake eye contact? I dont want to be alone forever. Any advice would be great because at this point I am so confused and dont trust men. He was my best friend and betrayed me for so many years. I need the courage to move on and look up!

Make this quick, married guy hitting on a married woman, only verbally!! As he knows and she knows it can never be more. She ignores him, but he has obviously fallen for her in his mind and goes to a place where he knows he will see her, and when he does he finds some way to speak to her, she only responds shortly but not rude. Hi, I'm the husband,
I moved away from my town where I grew up for 28years. One of my best friends is on business for about 5 months about 2 hours from where I live. He would like me to come there for a weekend to "hang out". He's single and has picked up women in front of my wife and brought them back to houses and such and my wife sees that. I understand my wife not wanting me to go there for the weekend. ( we have had some past trust issues). But how do I explain to my friend that I am married now and married people do not go out with buddies for the weekend? does that make sense? How do other married women feel about that?

I am 21 year old college student we have a three month old boy. Which I love so much. But right know I am in the point of saying f-------- it and getting a divorce. Taking care of my son and living the single life. The spark in are relationshp has died.She do not trust me and it is driving me crazy. Should i make it work just for my boy. We have been together for nearly 5 yrs, 2 happy kids together..She's 23, Im 28. I told her I wanted to wait to get married because when she turns 23 she will go through a phase where she doesnt want to be tied down.. exactly what's happening now. Sex is like once a month, I am understanding, honest, and have never cheated. I love my kids, and put my families needs before mine, but she says she is going crazy and cant take fighting, when she starts the fights?!? I want to go out and have fun too, but one child has medical needs, and getting a babysitter is not easy. I also went from making over $100K/yr to less than $40K after business crashed and lost everything, but working so hard to rebuild for my family. I never go out, and am always there for my family, andspend all my off time with them. She isnt superficial, so its not the lifestyle that is getting to her, its being with me and I can tell. I dont want live w/o my kids, and want to make it work. What to do??

i do love her by the way...but we have a distance relationship, we only see each other at the end of each week, sometimes 2 weeks

and, i now feel that i would also like to explore other girls body..it's a difficult thing to deal with, it's like trying to fight back with your own nature or instinct...altought i did never and will NEVER betray her.. what if we BOTH could find a way to explore more? I know she's not interested... but i am i guess...maybe just massaging other girls booty with my hands..i love it. So, if i told her i would love to touch other girls....would i regret? my bf & i have been together for almost 4 years now & we have talked about getting married or atleast gettin engaged...we are starting to put money away to buy his grandparents house we just bought him a newer car mines coming soon...i was a kinda joking kinda not & picked out a ring he just said yea i will look at it and thats all but he seems as if he has no interest (they ring wasn't anything he couldn't afford either and i love it its maybe one pay check)
im ready to not just be a "gf" any more i have alot of friends that hare already married or getting married soon that have been going out alot less time then we have its starting to bug me like he really doesn't want to...i just dont' want to put money & time into a relationship & then a house if its gonna be for some other girl down the road

if i ask him about it he changes the subject...his family even said hes taken forever

so my question is how long would you wait to get married or engaged?

I know there is not such a thing 'perfect marriage'. I am sure everyone deal with different problems in a marriage.
Are you happy with your marriage and how you try to make it work when there are problems? What are the problems you deal more with?
I always have problems dealing with my husband when is about sex. Not filling eachother needs enough. I am younger, I want more. He is older than me so he wants less. The rest is actually perfect in my marriage.

i'm nervous because i make 600 a week at my job plus my first husband pays 93 aweek child support. They used to set an amount of child support based on the fathers income only. I think this is so unfair that a child should get less support because a moms income is higher> i make decent money but I'm by no means rich 700 hundred a week sounds like a lot but not when you pay 63 dollars heath insurance deducted straight from check weekly 100 car payment weekly 175 dollars daycare payment weekly that leaves 300 dollars a week or less for bills and all the other stuff!If you think of it this way If you look at it this way making 700 weekly if i had a husband we would be like we each make 350 a week which is nothing. It's almost like your getting penalized as a child in a divorce because your mom makes more money why should you get less if you still need it. It's the same idea that rich people should have to pay higher taxes to me it's unfair!

We both work 1st shift now, but a friend of ours told me that there is a job opening at his work but it is 3rd shift. She would work 8am to 4:30pm and my new shift would be 9:30 pm to 7 am. Does anyone think that this would put our relationship going toward a bad direction? The new job I would be making about $100 more per week. But I hate the job I am at now. I have a daughter with my second husband. He used to tell me that my first husband was a fool for giving up on his daughterand that he would never. That if we divorced it would be war for custody. These were remarks he made while we were getting along. Sadly I have to divorce him because he left me then begged me not to divorce him when he lived across town. Then he ran into the military at 35 and forgot me and his daughters were even alive. He has been gone 4 months and comes back to town next week. I saw where he rented hotel rooms and went to strip clubs and spent outrageous amounts of money on weekend passes about 400 a weekend!! So no amount of begging not to divorce will work it's over. Even though i'm sure i'll win the custody b-cuz i'm a good mom i still wonder should i move away as seeing him once a week will be hell and i'll always b worried he'll drag me back into court or even steal my daughter Lately he has made remarks about hating me.

My wife cheated on me which eventually led to our seperation and divorce. Then I meant this woma at work. She wanted to go out with me. But she was married. She was ok with that. I wasn't. Usually I think to blame is a bad sex life or marriage. But why do men and women have to resort to cheating? Just end it if it comes to that?
