I wouldn't even put any attention into it...If that is how he feels and he wants to act childish then the joke is on him...If you let him know that it bothers you or if he knows that he is getting to you than he will continue playing games....

this is missing a great deal of detail, why would he have to salute you. Are you of some type of rank in the military that would require him to salute you. From what I understand you are suppose to salute your officers. But your question is confusing......incomplete in detail

I'm assuming you are in the service, and, since this is in Marriage and Divorce, he's your husband. Sounds like he's jealous. And maybe he feels saluting you is demeaning? If you're not in the service...it is.
