Write a will and divide everything up. Once the will is written, signed by witnesses, notarized and filed with an Attorney, she will not have a leg to stand on in getting anything.

Wow that's really selfish. You never tried to see her or have seen her. Your her parent. If she doesnt' want to see you now why disinherit her, you did that when she was born. Atleast be decent enough and acknowledge her.
You tried to commit suicide your twice as selfish as I thought you were before, give her atleast a little piece of you, that's really all she wants. MAybe for you to treat her like she's your kid.
write a will, give the kids a 1/4 then go on with your life. But atleast give her something she didnt ask to be born, you do owe her atleast something. A child support check never goes to the child it goes to the mother of that child and if that child sees it they are the lucky bunch.
You want ot disinherit her you dont have to you did it the day you walked away from her. Just write the will and leave her nothing. as you always gave her.

Suicide is not the answer. Why leave your other 3 kids whom you obviously HAVE a relationship with, without a Father?! That is just selfish. As far as your land, as long as you have a Will, or you Deed the Property over to the other 3 kids, there is nothing the 4th can do about it. BUT you MUST have a WILL or else everything will go into "probate court" and it could take years to resolve. Also, most importantly, get you some counseling!!!! You NEED to talk to someone about what is bothering you, or making you feel like you don't want to go on anymore. Do it for yourself, and for your children. Good Luck!!!!!!

Even if you draw up a will she can challenge it and fight your other three children...You don't want your family to suffer and have all these hardships after your passing because they are the ones who will have to deal with this...By you paying support you acknowledged her as your daughter...Vistation has nothing to do with support...You should have fought this in court before or even now...You may not win but, at least you can do what needs to be done while you are alive...Its really sad that you are dealing with this but, yet again you have owned up to your responsibiltiy as a father and that should be said for something...She shouldn't be excluded just because you both have issues with one another...I sugguest you try and meet together and try to talk things through...She's only 18 and although you may not be able to change the past the future could surprise the both of you...Best wishes....

your vague on why she doesn't want to see you did something happen. You can't totally blame her as she was raised in another home probably her mom has had some bad feelings about you she tryed to hide but kids know. Being a dad is more than sending money!! Did you make an effort to be in her life. Believe me kids remeber when they wait and their dad never calls thme on their birthday this devastates them and is hard for them to get over even small children. I have seen it and it kills a mother to see their child hurt like that over and over. Don't place the blame all on her take a really good look at yourself before you do that. Try to talk to her even if thats the last thing you want to do Sometimes without communication a lot of misunderstandings take place too.

In order to insure the 18 year old gets none of the land, all you have to do is make up a Will distributing the land however you see fit. When you die, the land will then, by law, be divided according to the Will.

yes she can, she is your daughter whether she wants to see you or not. There is also has to be a reason for her not wanting to see you. This could be because you chose not to have anything to do with her except to pay child support, or she feels as though you care nothing about her, and that is apparent by you wanting to disinherit her. The only way that I see out for you is if another man adopts her, this way she relinquishes all rights to your inheritance, and If she chooses or someone chooses to adopt her, I would make sure that it is written that she relinquishes all her rights to any and all inheritance of yours.

You sound like PARENT of the year. No wonder she wants nothing to do with you. Did you see her on a regular basis when she was growing up or did you just send the check that the law made you send??? You are her parent and should love her unconditionally. Give her what you give your other children so you can die a decent human being...

Mom here... Usually kids that act like this, are being prompted by someone else. Go ahead and write that will. I would bet when she gets a little older and is able to think for herself, she may look you up to meet you.
Remember, kids this age do not go after property un less other s are telling them to.

You can divide the land up between whom ever you choose...You don't HAVE to give her anything, but honestly if she wants nothing to do with you I would have to wonder how much of that has to do with the other parent involved!
