I told my husband what I wanted for my birthday, and he ordered it for me. Today is my birthday, and although the presents are here, they arent wrapped, he didnt get me a card, no cake, and no dinner. When my feelings were hurt, he told me that I should have told him what I wanted. His excuse was that he didnt have time to get any of that other stuff because he has been so busy. Is it too much to ask for him to think of that stuff on his own? His is mad at me or something now, and isnt even here. He said that nothing is ever good enough for me. What the hell?

I am a mother of 4 children (thankfully no teenagers yet!), twin toddlers and two slightly older children - one home-educated.
I really don't feel as though I acheive much each day and I get the impression my husband thinks the same and yet I am rarely off my feet and when I am it's because I am fed up/tired. Really - I need lots of detail here. What do other mums manage to achieve each day? What would be considered absolute essential tasks each day, what could be done each week, etc, etc. How many groups should I take my children to each week, how many visits to park, how much time should they spend outside each day, how often should we spend with grandparents and greatgrandparents, bearing in mind we are not particularly close, though live nearby. How much individual time should I give my children, how much time should I give to my husband (how much of it should be devoted to sex?). I need some guidance/peace of mind and would really appreciate any help you can give. Thank you.

We all know the double standard : Man dates casually, he's a stud and playing the field, Woman dates casually "stop the masses!" we have a slut in town.
While I understand why it would be to men's advantage to continue to perpetuate this archaic belief, I don't understand why women fall for it too.
They are the harshest and cruelest critics when it comes to other women playing around as well. Yet, they don't share the same outrage when it comes to men.
What gives?

What do I do? I found out my husband cheated on my after denying it for months. I don't know whether to work to save my marriage for the sake of my family or just to give up. Our relationship has become so volatile lately that I just want to give up, but on the flip side, I do love my husband. We are supposed to start counseling to work on some of our problems on Tuesday, but now I don't know what is going to happen. No haters please. I want real advice.

Me and my husband have always had a great sex life, but now that I am pregnant it never happens. I have absolutely no sex drive and even when I get a little bit in the mood, it still hurts like crazy. My husband feels like I don't love him anymore but that is not true. I love him more than life itself. I know its just the pregnancy affecting my hormones but how can I make my husband happy if it hurts so bad?

I have been married for over 12 years. A recurring problem is my husbands addiction" to internet porn. He is also active on online dating sites and talks (dirty) to various women. He doesn't meet with them but says he likes the fantasy. Our sex like sucks as he would rather be on the computer and take care of himself than be with a woman who loves him. Four months ago I found out about a " friend "of his that he actually talks to on the phone. We had a big blow out and I told him I was done with our marriage if he didn't give up this friendship and the porn. he agreed. together we threw out the porn in the house and he gave me his computer emails and passwords so I could check up on him. he did tell this girl he was not going to talk to her anymore. ( I read her pathetic blog about it) Yesterday I found out that he opened a new email account, has signed up on various porn & dating sites and renewed his relationship with this girl. What do I do? I still love him

This is a folow up to my other ?? We have a small construction business, he does the physical part and I do all of the clerical, web, advertising, etc. I am also a stay at home Mom of 2 kids that are not his. He says that the house is not clean enough and I that I do nothing. Never says I love you anymore. Doesn't seem actually nice unless he wants sex. Doesn't do anything with the kids. Controls the money. Tells me lies or keeps things from me. Leaves me and the kids at home in a VERY rural area with no car, phone, money, and sometimes no food. My Mama brought groceries when he pawned everything we owned and ran it all out in gas and lottery tickets saying he was looking for more work. He can't see where he has done anything wrong and I don't know how to make him see, so that there can be change and any hope for our marriage. How do make someone take a look at the "man in the mirror"?

He wants to reconcile and go to counseling to work through our marriage problems. He says his wife is more important than that. A part of me wants to take him back and work things out but a part of me does know if I should forgive and forget

I've been divorced for 5 years and enjoy spending time with my girlfriend. We spend every weekend together and see each other once or twice a week. I don't want to spend all my free time with her, though, but I am. How do I talk to her about respecting my desire to be away from her? I have no interest in dating other women, and would like to visit friends or family out of town occasionally. She gets a little jealous, in fact she got upset when I mentioned going to my high school reunion. I wouldn't even mind if she came, not at all, but she can't travel. Help!! Ok, maybe this should be in the Singles & Dating category but high school kids can't help me here.

I checked my boyfriend's email today and found out something horrible. I know it's wrong to snoop, but I was extremely suspicious about something and what I discovered is incomprehensible. My BF and his friend went out drinking last night (while I'm out of town). My BF's friend (who is married to MY friend) slept with someone last night at my BF's house. In their emails this morning to each other, they were laughing about it all and talking about having to wash the guest bedroom sheets. I'm disgusted on so many levels. Should I tell my friend what her husband did? How can I do that without telling that I snooped in my BF's email? I don't know what to do.

Ok, so my husband and his family go camping every other weekend during the summer, labor day weekend will be the last one of the season. About a month ago, while at a camping trip, the entire family got into a BIG fight. I told my husband that I never wanted to go back camping with them like that. And that I would NOT go back at all this year! Now, the entire family is getting ready for this weekends camping trip and they all assumed that I was going, no one, including my husband, ever asked if I wanted to go. Since no one asked and I didn't want to go anyways, I made other plans to join two friends in Lake Tahoe. I told my husband since it was my 3 day weekend and no one asked me or even bothered to listen to me that I didn't want to go, I went ahead and made other plans. Now he is mad at me for not going with him and his family. And even madder at me because I want to so something else. Help! Did I do the right thing? or did I just really screw up?

I caught the office manager /payroll person on my husbands job throwing herself at him . She was against him , with her face 6 inches from his , and talking to him in an intimate way . Up close and personal . He was going to her house occasionally to do "side" jobs. She's single and looking . He claimed she is a co-worker only. On my jobs I would never be allowed to get "on" another co-worker like she was "on" him . To top it off , he did nothing to push her off of him , all he did was make sure she knew I was there by pointing repeatedly in my direction till she finally got it . To top that off , the job has not been lucrative for the past year . As in the pay dropped by half . We have had a difficult time paying rent for this whole year . But he refused to look for another job . So when all this happened , I said "co-worker my a**". I then demanded that he never go to her house again and that he look for another job . He says the only reason he has a new job is because I overreacted.
