Men only cheat on their wives if they are jerks who have no respect for their wife and for their relationship. That's all there is to it.

I would never do such a thing, as I love and respect my wife and my marriage.

Keep in mind that there are women who do this also, it isn't just men.

Why do men cheat on their wives? There are many reasons, but for me the biggest was lust.

Even if the wife is nice and gives him the world? My wife didn't give me the world, but she was nice. Even if she had given me the world, I still would have done it because I was emotionally immature to a shocking degree.

I doubt they are thinking about anything beyond their own immediate gratification. Some men need a new and different person to tell them the same things that they are hearing from the "nice wife" to believe that it is true.

I don't think lots of men cheat on their wives only the weak and shallow ones.

Just look at YA and all the women who immediately say divorce him to all these sorts of questions - why? Because they want more men to choose from!!!

Because men CHEAT! Because they are incapable of being faithful. I am 32 and have yet to meet a man who is faithful. Life is full of too much temptation and they are constantly on the prowl. Sad to say but sometimes the truth isn't what we want to hear.
Do they think of STD'S? OF course not, heck do you know any men who go get check ups like we have to do yearly? They don't want to know!

People cheat because there is something wrong with them personally. You know the phrase, "once a cheater, always a cheater?" Its true. People who continually cheat have mental issues. Either its because they have low self esteem and need a ton of attention, or it has something to do with their upbringing, or lack of integrity, or they are just a jerk. There are mean people out there that just want nothing more than to see someone in pain.

But not everyone cheats. And its not just guys, girls cheat too.
