i understand that I can divorce my husband that has been incarcerated for 3 1/2 yrs. by going to the Walker County courthouse in Huntsville,Texas .Can you help me ???

You can divorce him whether he is in or out of prison. You have obviously been living apart for a long period of time. Just go to a local attorney and he will draw up the settlement agreement and it will be done quickly. He can have the papers delivered to him in jail.

You have to file a divorce petition with the court. I'd advise you to ask a lawyer in your state. So much depends on your state laws and whether he is going to contest it or not, whether there are kids or property.
