Sit down with her and ask her why she is not showing you affection the way you do to her. It could be many reasons why. If she has a hard time to, then you start it out. Just wondering how she was when you first got married or what was her personality like before marriage?
I would consider you getting her this book called, "The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands" and "The Proper Care and Feeding of Marriage" for both of you.

Really? She shows no affection whatsoever? Your wife may be tired (assuming she is also a mum?) It can be hard for most mums to decide on priorities whilst at the same time trying to keep herself sane. I'm sure she has deep affection for you and shows it in other ways, rather than perhaps what you would prefer (sex maybe?) Lower your expectations and if you still feel you receive no affection whatsoever then tell her how you feel without blame or criticism.

He is not meeting her emotional needs read Love and respect and Cracking the communication code both by emmerson eggrich or buy the cd's online at loveandrespect.com. In the mean time call her on lunch breaks, take her on a date, write her a letter about how much you love her, she wants to feel special and when she does she will be more likely to show you the affection you need. Check out these books they could change your life.

I would sit down and find out what is going on. Maybe make a romantic setting and try to bring the flame back into the marriage.

Well I guess my first question would be ..has it always been like this , if it hasn't when did it change... do you have poor hygiene or gained lots of weight...You need to evaluate your situation honestly and then have a talk with her. There really isn't enough info to give you more than this

FIND OUT WHY!!! THERE IS A REASON. I PROMISE. A WOMANS EGO IS MORE FRAGILE THAN A MANS. HAVE YOU HURT HER SOMEHOW? EMOTIONALLY? OR PHYSICALLY? VERBALLY OR MAYBE ITS SOMETHING MEDICALLY WRONG. ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT SEX OR JUST AFFECTION? MAYBE SEX CAUSES HER PAIN. SO IN TURN SHE DOESN'T GIVE AFFECTION BECAUSE SHES AFFRAID YOU'LL WANT SEX.
