WOW, I personally cant believe how popular this question is on here. Gosh I recall answering this questio alot!!! I dont think there is "an age" to get married, it's more about the 2 ppl who are wanting to be married how mature they are.

It definitely depends on each person's individual situations and beliefs I suppose. But, I'd would recommend following these guidelines to help ensure a strong future: Finish school, finish some sort of post-secondary school so you can obtain a decent job/career, obtain that job, have your bills under control and be financially stable enough to tackle being a family...with expenses like rent or mortgage, utilities or a surprise baby! And, most importantly, be happy in your relationship with no doubts. Imagine forever with this person and then go for it! For me this happened at age 26, for one of my friends it happened at 19 and for my other best friend it happened at 38...so you can see there is no perfect age!

there is no certain age to get married. there are instances of marriage at age of 18 and also those of 40+ and both are happy and satisfied in their own way. it all depends on finding the right partner and both getting mentally and physically and financially prepared for the situation.

I dont think you can put an age on it...i knew when i met my husband i would be w/ him forever...i met him at age 18 married at age 20.....My grandparents married when my grandma was 16 and yes that was the "old" days, but they made it until death parted them....(58yrs) So really as long as you take your vows seriously it doesnt matter what age you get married......

It's really no age limit if you are both mentally mature but don't be crazy...16 or 17 in my opinion is a little bit too young.

I think no one should get married til they have a had a couple of years out on their own and find out about life. You don't want to wake up one day and say..."what could have been???" Good Luck!
