you see i live with mt sister in one room and they asked me if i wanted my own room which is theres ad i don't know yet cause they said i couldn't paint the walls cause i don't know just cause and the walls are red how ugly rite and i don't know what to do stay in the room with my sis which is annoying or go to my parents room which i cant paint the walls you pick cause there like really in a rush and i don't know which one so can you tell me that thanks

My friend, a divorced mom, has two preteen daughters. She is very depressed not having enough money this year due to health problems, to buy Christmas for her girls. I would like to find out what organizations I could contact that would donate a gift to the girls. Would someone please list some places to start with? I was peacefully surfing the net since its a Friday, I'm tired form school. My sister bought this giant pencil and kept poking me all week with the pointy part. She does it for amusement too. Today I was sitting in my room peacefully and then she comes to my room and starts attacking me. I told her to stop, many times and that I don't want any trouble.

I then smacked her weapons out of her hands. She ran away and came back with her giant pencil... I told her stop but she didn't, so I threw this plastic boomerang thing to scare her but it hit her lip. Now she has a cut in the middle of her lip and its bleeding. Shes fine but lemme ask did she deserve it?

Well....I am 26 and work with my cousin in our Uncle's company and 2 yrs ago,we were asked to live together and we both got agreed and bought an apartment and since then living together.Now I feel that i cant take decisions of my own and as he has family and a kid ,so get the disturbance always,can't go anywhere ,can't study because he is very sticky kind of guy who always love to tease others,never let me sit alone in my room,always want to keep me occupied in his work
Now i have decided to Move out but one problem i am looking that until we sell the apartment ,I cant move out and he would not be easily agree to sell the apartment.

Please suggest a best reason that i would move out and relation will still be there.

this christmas all i asked for is the lg voyager. my contract ran out last week and i want new phone since my old phone is really beat up and scratched (i used it for 2 years.) i am a young teen. my parents said i am definitely NOT getting the voyager. i wont settle for any other phone because i want the phone i love because i'll be stuck with it for 2 years. i cant work and i cant help them pay. my parents have very good jobs and are very wealthy, but they still live in the dark ages. we have 14 inch tv's and a 1998 computer. i am very stubborn and i cant find anything else i want as much as the voyager. how can i convince them to get it for me? (it's not money issues it's stubborness... i guess it runs in the family) ugh i know christmas isnt about gifts and i really do love Christ and adknowledge him on christmas so don't lecture me. thanks.

Ok, so I am having problems with my "Brother", heres how it started. When we both grew up he is the one that msotly stands out, and makes more friends, and also makes fun of me. When ever we go to my moms friends hosue where we have been going for years, infront of all the people there which are like my age and some other people around the block we know, he always makes fun of me and says things like that i do this and that at home, and its stupid, he makes fun of me, everyone laughs, then they have fun with him, then people look at me like im a stupid person, or that i dont know anything.

Now when he turned 20 years old, he has a girlfriend, then my mom fights with him because he is usally going out without permision, and came home from college erly. It turns out he lied and isnt going to college anymore, and he still says he is, so one day he wants to go out with his girlfriend, my mom said you need to work tomarrow, and he says no im still going, and disobeys my mom, and she said if you leave this house youi are nto coming back in here, so he leaves he takes his stuff and moves to his girlfriends house, and then, soon enough he comes back home after a week saying sorry and stuff like that, so what happened, after that a month passes by, we fight and fight he yells at me pushes me around, tells me to get out of his room, when its really our room. And continues to hit me and make fun of me, if he hits me I tlel my mom and she says, did you hit him, and if he says no, she screams and tells me why am I lieing. Why would he say yes?> he lies a lot. So after 2 months, he fights with her again and leaves I finally have my own bed my own room everything is peace full, but my mom looks outside the window till 2:00 am and never leaves it seeing if he comes across the street because he was staying across the street, and he even man handled my mom on the street. And talks about her and trashes her, then after 6 months he comes back like nothing with no job fatter than ever, its all horrible. I thought that would teach him a lesson but no. now I cant sleep in my own bed, he takes my things off of my bed and tells me that doesn’t belong there, do this do that, and makes fun of me, and now idk what to do!!!!!!!!!! Its all so horrible. Plz help me, I cant tlak to my mom bedcause she will just ask him if its true or not and hes gonna say no and im gonna get screamed at. Nothing helps!!! Can u plz help give me advice.

My mom needs help, @ least I think so. She put up the Christmas lights on the tree, then she had a fight w/ my bro & got mad & took them down. Then like 2 days later, she put it back up. She does that. She puts something somewhere, moves it, then moves it to the place @ the beginning! Is there something wrong w/ her?

I'm 20 years old and I am in the process of moving back home for a few months before I get in t an apartment in Boston, and also go to school there. she calls them fat azz and all kinds of names ...she beats up on their dad in front of them and she has even pulled knives on their dad in front of them ..their dad is starting to be just like her...the court raised his child support and he told my kids he didnt want to see them anymore and that they werent getting any christmas from him because i was an evil bi@#$.....i dont allow my kids to see him very often because of her and his behavior....his wife talks to people that arent there, she tells my kids that her father is in the mafia and is going to come and kill us all,she pulled a knife on their dad in front of them and said her secret service agent cousin told her to kill him...and numerous other incindences...she also claims to be a witch and have special powers.....what can be done to get this woman commited ?she is nuts and i will not allow my kids around her ever again...

my neighbor's oldest son is a bully. He likes to manipulate the other children during playtime and even gets physical with the boys, including his own little brother. With the girls, he calls them names and makes them feel like trash. My daughter has complained about him on several occasions but tonight I had it. I went straight to him and told him "It needs to stop and it's going to stop NOW. You are a bully and if I hear or see you bullying ever again, I will tell your mother and you will be in big trouble. It has to stop NOW."

I felt good for confronting him right then and there in front of the other boys. But my question is, then what? What if he continues? His parents don't really do much with him. They might tell him to stop, or that he's in time out, but that's about it. The vocabulary he uses actually comes from his own father. What would be the next step is this happens again and his parents don't do anything about it. It's not like school where he could get suspended.

Many are being fooled into thinking this is a harmless fantasy like Tarabithia or Cronicles of Narnia. It is VERY far from it. It is written by a British author who is considered on of the most "dangerous" writers of our time. While the movie is tame compared to the books, He has openly stated that it is his hope that children will see the movie, and parents will get the books for them for Christmas, and after reading the books, they will make a clear stand against God. He hopes that one day God will be dead in the minds on children because he calls Christianity a powerful mistake, and an ex-nun character in the movie states so.

The end of the trilogy of books has two characters, a boy and girl who represent Adam and Eve kill God, who they say has made people falsely belive He was the creator of all things.

So, will you and your children be seeing it? As an alternative, there is a small movie calle Noelle that is being raved by Dove Foundation.

Mum - She always shouts at me for literally no reason, & has given me marks where she has hit me before. She is an alcoholic & tried to kill her self 2 times in my lifetime. I don't hate mum that much, just sometimes.
Dad - Ignorant, always watches porn and wanks himself, picks his nose, shouts at me for nothing & comes in my room naked at night to turn my telly off.
My Brother - He has severe behavior orders & has been arrested twice for assaulting me with a hammer and stuff like that.
And the rest of my family takes the piss out of me and calls me names.
I've told my mum & she says they are only joking, but it still hurts.
Also, mum and dad have said they wished i was never born & that they hate me when they get pissed off with me.

Our teenage daughter is beyond messy. Her room is always trashed and I mean trashed. Never cleans up after herself and it is frustrating the heck out of me. We have tried every form of positive and negetive reinforment with no change in her ways. We have even threatned to make her switch rooms with her younger brother( she has half the basement as her bedroom) and all that did was make her give us the silent treatment. Anybody have any ideas on how to get her to care? And for the love of all that holy, do not respond to this by just saying " well she is a teen, what did i expect" being a teen does not mean "go ahead and be a piglet".

Recently, my father has become ill and he has come to stay with me and my family. I have a wife and a five year old daughter who also live with me. Yesterday, my father was getting out of the shower and my daughter ran into the bathroom because she needed to use the restroom and 'couldn't wait.' When she got into the bathroom, my father had appearantly been out of the shower for a couple of minutes. This is very awkward for me. My daughter later asked what that thing was that Grandpa was shaking between his legs. I asked my father what happened and he told me. How do explain what my father was doing to my daughter?

my mother in law is VERY superstitious and personally i don't believe in any of her rituals and ridiculous acts. me and my husband have 3 small children and everytime she visits, she teaches them rituals and gives them wishbones and feathers and other things to hang over their doors and i have told her numerous times that i would rather she didn't do this but she she still sneaks and does it when they spend the night at her house. what should i do ?

My boyfriend and I have been dating for 3 years. I'm 19 and he is 22. We have talked about marriage, and we plan on being together for a while, but for right now, we're just enjoying being young and getting our lives together.
I may or may not have children in the future, I think it's too early to decide, I would like to eventually, but I can't even fathom it right now
My boyfriend's mom has been buying various things for "our daughter" even though we aren't even living together or even engaged. She says she's had dreams about us having a daughter, and then when she is born she can have all of the things she is buying her.
What if we do have kids and then it's a boy??
My boyfriend told me she already bought us a wedding gift!!!
What can I do?

I was dumped by ex gf just 8 weeks after our child was born. We came to a friendly agreement over contact and maintenance to avoid courts and the CSA.

I lost my job, and she said it was fine to stop payment, and I quickly found another job. But the pay is poor and I struggle to pay her. She wants to go to the CSA but knows it is pointless to her - she is on benefit, and whatever the CSA take from me to give to her, the social security will DEDUCT the same from her benefit. Instead she is resorting to implied threats.

I told her I would move jobs to earn more, but she insists I MUST only work Monday to Friday! She is willing to take the money but not to accept a change of contact days.

I feel I am being muscled out of my child's life, and I can easily see why some fathers in the UK feel compelled to do a vanishing act.

Just today, after the shower...my mom found cuts across my wrist randomly, and she asked me how I got it and I told her it's from the cats. She applied some disinfectant, but upon running her fingers on it, she said it was too deep to be from a cat, and she didn't believe me. She told me to swear to God that it was from the cats, and me, being faithful to God, couldn't swear, and she knew that I was cutting myself. She looked like she was about to cry and kept asking me lots of questions, most of them like: "What do you cut with, honey? Why? I'm your best friend, please tell me! People do this when they're really sad, why are you doing it?"....I promised her that I would talk about it later, and she let me go for a while. She's gonna ask me later when she finds me alone...I have no idea what to say, to make it understanding and comforting. I don't know exactly what to say about why I cut...Suppose your loved one saw your cuts, what would you say? please help me with all you can!

My Dad and I haven't ever had too good of a relationship. When I was younger, he wasn't really around, and when he divorced my step-mom, he went to bars to get women and dates. He got girlfriends, and the one he is with now is 28 - I'm 19, and when he was drunk, he'd fight with her and beat her up. Once it got pretty bad and he broke the car's back windo with her head. That's not my problem though. This man is my father &he calls me a 'slut', says I 'spread my legs for my boyfriend', told me he reads my E-mails/IM's, and gets mad at me for wanting to be an art teacher. I'm in college right now, already doing things that will further my career, and he says it's not good enough and I should be going to school, not seeing my bf, &working a job. He wants me to pay electricity, the car bill, gas, and extra money for being there. He's also controlled time with my bf, saying I can't be with someone who works@Wal-Mart full time and won't be able to pay for the abortion when I get 'knocked up'.

i'm in my 20's and i still live at my mom's house. i have a boyfriend over a year now. actually he is my fiance. most of the time i have to go to his house. he comes over here too but i go to his house more becasue of my mom. everytime she knows he is coming over she will stay stuff to me like oh great don't tell me he is comig over. and when he comes over m y mom never says hi to him or anything unless he says it to her first. she will just walk right past him. when i go to his house his mom always talks to me. she won't even answer the door when he rings the doorbell. she will just keept doing whatever she is doing even if it's nothing and i have to answer it. even if i'm in the bathroom. if we sit in theliving room playing video games she complains about us sittign on the floor or whatever. if we hang out in my room she complains about that too. one time he calld after 9 or 10 and she hung up on him cause she said it was late even though she wasn't asleep yet. what do i do? it hurts

Im due in January and am more than ready to have my baby. In movies you always see family members sitting in the waiting room at the hospital... and then the father comes out with the baby and everyone sees him.

I know for a fact that I will not be in the mood to see anyone but my mother if anyone at all after going thru the most difficult task of my life. My mother in law really irritates me and having her around will not go over well for me personally.

When you gave labor did family come visit you afterwards or does the hospital make such visits un-allowed. I might even ask my nurse to tell them I need rest and no one should be admitted into the room.

I don't mind them seeing the baby I just don't like the idea of people crowding around me after I labored for several hours especially my MIL because she is so loud.

Anyways, what really happens after the delivery? Do people really wait for hours until the babies arrived?
