My husband says that I always want it my way after things like tellng him to go to Walmart instead of the gas station to buy items or not to throw away things with his SS# . I am only trying to be resourceful and helpful, but he feels that I won't let him make decisions and takes offense. What should I do?

i know i shouldnt say that all men are like this, so im not generalizing, but why do some men not care if a women if married to somebody else? every guy that has asked me out doesnt seem to care. i'll tell them im married and they keep asking me. is it because alot of married girls are going out with lots of guys now, and im just naive? or do these guys just not care. i thought telling somebody you're married was a good way out of telling somebody no. i just want to know if this is some kind of new trend thats going on (married people dating other people)

Would a man wait for sex before marriage if they really liked the girl and it was important to her?

2007-12-12 07:53:08 · 17 answers · asked by Sensible 1 in Singles & Dating

Ive liked this girl for a few years. We often flirted and met up recently as we live in different cities. Well we kissed and I would have loved sex but she just held off and said not now. When she said this to me, I said to her 'then when'. She didnt answer me. Do you think she is just not really into me? What did she mean by 'not now'?

Can you fall in love all over again with someone after having a baby with them in the past, and then reconnecting again later on down the road. We have alot to talk about, and catch up on. We are alot alike. And he does have feelings for his ex, but they live so far away from each other, and he is calling me trying to figure me out, and saying lets start over as friends and see where it takes us. Do you think we can fall in love?

Well, its quite a dilemma :-)
Let me first give you some facts...
I'm 20years and still a student - probably until 2009. My boyfriend already works and ofcourse he wants to move out with his parents. We would really love to buy an appartment and move in together! Financial it will be OK, not that we will be rich and stuff but just ok to survive.
My mum is my best friend but the last weeks we have a lot of fights, so I was thinking that it would be better to move out so our relationship could be back to normal. She doesn't think so, but she will support my decision.
But there are a lot of people saying that life is hard out there and that I don't know what I'm getting into... That after some years you will be tired of your husband and blablabla. I know there are some bastards out there but mine isn't one of them! He's so generous!!

What do you think?

I don't just mean in a physical sense either, I mean what is it that keeps you interested in someone when at first they may not have been "hot" or "sexy" to you. Have you had a case in which you'd met someone, and typically wouldn't have even looked twice at, but then something about them has caught you, and you can't let go?

OK I'll try a different wording this time. My wife has to have a domesticemployee. Not having one would be socially embarrassing. But the rule there is that she must pay the employee from her personal money. Last night she said she needed $200 becuase she owed it to someone for something. I cheerfully gave it to her, then she said she needed another $200 and was evasive about why. This morning I discovered $300 she had left for the domestic employee and suspect that it came from the $400 I gave her last night.
So my question is - How should I discipline her? Verbally? Spanking or something more intense? $400 worth of "lip service"?

This is the same question earlier.
Last night was a horrible night. My wife was upset because I'm 'slow' in doing things around the house. She was upset so I was going to go to the guest bed and sleep there. When I was about to leave to the other room she called me names and scratched me hard so that I bled from the scratch. I came up to her face and held her down and started screaming what is wrong with her. She settled down so I left to the other room. While i was sleeping she opened the door and said she wanted me out of the house, but she threw a kids camera at my stomach and threw a small book at me as well as a kids toy. She then threw my cell phone at the wall so that's when i got up and rushed her, but she took my wallet and ran to the main bed room. There we were screaming and she wouldn't give me my wallet and I didn't see it anywhere. She tried scratching me again so I held her arms by the wrist down. When i did that I pushed her hands by her face since she was laying down.

This is what I don't understand. If a woman says she wants a baby and the man does not want a child, then he is forced to pay child support by the courts. If a woman decides that she wants to have an abortion, then the man is not able to legally stop it.

If a woman honestly wants a man to contribute 100% to the financial and emotional needs, shouldn't he has as much rights as she does when it comes down to the decision making and fate of the child from conception?

I am not saying that men should not be responsible for the financial and emotional support of their children. I am saying that shouldn't they have the same rights as women in the decision making that concerns the child's future and their own?

I am 21 yr old woman…yeah...young to be thinking about this kind of stuff, but I am extremely romantic and believe in marriage…well…at least I should, right? I would like to know who here has been happily married for at least 5 years. And if you are single…do you believe in marriage? Because now I am wondering…is it very, very difficult to be happy with the person you claim to love until the day you die?
