we're both in year nine (14), and i really like this boy and i know he likes me too, the other night i was txting him and i asked him what was he gonne ask me a couple weeks ago?
and he replied "ok, i was gonna ask u out, but i didnt think u wanted to."
but i DO want to, haha.
so should i ask him out? as at the minute im having a very rough time at home and i feel like i could need some1 like him at the moment
any advice is appreciated, thank you.

If you do ask him out or get him to ask you out make sure it is for the right reasons and not just coz you're having a rough time with your mum. You don't want to be talking bout your mum and her probs to him all the time and it's easy to slip into doing stuff like that. You liked him before all the home probs started and he liked you so what you waiting for? Have you got his mobile number? xx

So you just need to text him back "too bad u did not ask me out, cus i am just hanging out over here"...and see what he says. It's fair - he did admit the question. Besides, teasing you about what he might have done is one way for a guy (or girl) to test the responses of the person without the possibly humiliation of asking and being rejected - so he "kind of" asked you already, he just is looking for a "kind of" confirmation.

You should text him back asap so he doesn't feel like you left him hanging with his statement... text back like " Hey, remember the question you wanted to ask me a couple of weeks ago, well my answer is yes." You don't even have to ask him again because he already asked you, all you have to do is answer..LOL...Good Luck with it all family stuff and boys!

You're only 14. I'm not trying to be a "mother figure" but 14 is too young to realize that you love a boy that you have never really even dated. I say, ask him out, become his friend..and don't rush into things!

Tell him he should have asked you out. If he asks why say you would have said yes. Dont ask him out but hint to him alot.. so that he does it again. He will. Youll be fine, dont forget about your friends and family if you need to turn to someone. :)
