Would a man wait for sex before marriage if they really liked the girl and it was important to her?

I think it depends on the couple.
If he is experienced and then meets a girl who wants him to wait, he can decide whether the transitory pleasure of a quick bonk is more important than maybe a long relationship.
BUT, on the other hand, if he waits, marries her, and then finds that she has absolutely no sex life, it doesn't bode well for it lasting, does it?
And there are couples where she wants it and he doesn't, it goes both ways.
In an ideal world they could both wait, then find they were ideally matched.
But the world isn't ideal.

Absolutely! Many of our youth are finding a God-spirited life demands that the guy be as celibate as he demands his future wife be in conforming to the teachings of the Christian religion. I do not have statistics to give you and they are probably those individuals who follow this doctrine are in the minority, but yes, I believe in the integrity of the young people who have confided in me that they will not have sex until after marriage- by young people I mean young gentlemen. They are a rare breed so grab one of these guys, and after the wedding bells then consummate your union! Neither one of you will regret it, but again this is a personal opinion having had the honor to be blessed myself in a marriage where we both waited to have sex after marriage. I did not say it would be easy only as a personal observation I found it a blessing.

oh yes he would wait,but from the men i know who have done this it dosent always work out,its a little like waiting to taste the forbidden fruit,but after the wait it may not be what he realy wants,i know its selfish,buts thats men,not all men,but quite a good few.

If they really loved her than yes because they would respect her.
Hopefully they are not out banging other chicks which is usually how they wait but to each their own!

No doubt some would, but I don't think it would be many. Likewise probably not too many women would either.
