I don't just mean in a physical sense either, I mean what is it that keeps you interested in someone when at first they may not have been "hot" or "sexy" to you. Have you had a case in which you'd met someone, and typically wouldn't have even looked twice at, but then something about them has caught you, and you can't let go?

If a woman can beat me at a board game or a complex card game ... I'd stay around. If you can hold a conversation outside of the surface topics .... I'd want to keep it going.
It could be a confident manner, stylish dress or a sensual touch that might turn my head.

Looks to begin with, lots in common (esp sexual interests), same wants and needs, sense of humor and someone who likes your sense of humor. A person who is attracted to your body and soul but would not let you allow either of them to slip too much. They should be willing and want to care for you and make you feel like they need you too...without being needy or clingy... complicated stuff!

I have a crush on a guy who isn't the best looking, but he means alot to me. He always is honest with me and gives me advice with a problem I am having with my best friend. He called me the other night when I had asked him for advice over IM. He told me that my best friend didn't know what she was missing by only using me as a person to replace her boyfriend when he's busy when she wants to hangout with him. This guy's honesty means the world to me, and he has this amazing sense of humour and always knows how to make me laugh, and I adore him for that.

yeah, and its so weird. cause the person isnt even really that attractive, but if a guy is funny or if he just really cares about me and likes me alot, then ill get interested. thats why sometimes i get attracted to geeks, cause they are like obsessed with me, cause im like a "pretty girl" and i dont know.. it feels kinda kewl to have someone like u so much. lol. sorry if this is confusing.

I don't believe that you should like someone just for their looks! I was with a man for 4 years and he was butt *** ugly! but he was the most sensitive and loving person I ever knew.

yes!my ex was someone i would never think of dating ever in my life.then i decided to talk to him and he had what seemed to be an awesome personality he was sweet and caring and respectful he was a good person.plus he had really pretty blue eyes lol.i think with his personality everytime i looked at him he just became more and more and more attractive to me if any of that makes sense lol.
