I've known my boyfriend for 2 years and we got back together 3 months ago, after a four month break-up. I've never really been into getting back together after breaking up b/c obviously, the break up was meant to be. But, for this guy, I thought, "why not give it another try?" So, since our reuniting, we've had little arguments, big ones and everything in between. I've doubted our relationship but he always renews my faith. However, things are beginning to add up again, the way they did before our split. Friday night, we were having a debate about having strippers at his bachelor party. We're not gettin married anytime soon but I often bring up hypothetical scenarios. I said that my dad never needed strippers to have a good time w/ his friends and he brings up something about my father that I told him that stung when he said it. I said goodnite, hung up the phone and he called the next day. We talked more and he said he wouldn't take it back b/c it was the truth. Is he worth my time?

I have been with the same man for years and he has become so annoying and negative. How do I find it in my heart to even put effort into this relationship? My boyfriend is always calling me names. Ever since I told him I didn't like the word c*nt he has always called me it. He said he did it so I can get over my "stupid hate of words" he calls me lots of bad, vulgar names, all the time. WHen he does it, he isn't angry with me, and most of the time he calls me names when everything is peachy keen.. I told him I don't like it but he says he can't help it.. what do I do?

I belong in this tight-knit social group where everybody knows everyone else. I've been active in it for 20 yrs, held leadership roles, and have a good handful of friends. In a way, I've been one of the more well-known members for speaking out, volunteering, that type of thing.

But I find that it has been difficult making new friends, especially those my age and oddly enough with the females. I've never been in any popular group, but I'm friends with nice people, I think. However a few girls have trashed about me in the past or spread gossip about me.. about my race, my beliefs or my looks... which I have learned to deal with. But I don't understand.. it shouldn't be hard to make new friends, right? So why is it hard to make friends, especially with girls?

Hi, i met a guy 4 yrs ago on the internet, and we finally met face to face about 4 weeks ago, we talked once in awhile on the phone and IM before we met in "real" life. There was instant connection when i seen him but he works to much to be in a relationship , he still wants to be friends for now.We got together last friday and we were just gonna "cuddle" but ... , i should have known better, there has always been this heat between us, anyways, he has not called me since...im worried now that he just played me.
How long should i wait before i start to forget about him and should i be the one to contact him first?

I met this guy about a month & a half ago & we've became friends w/benefits. I've never done anything like that before...he has. The only other person besides him that I've slept w/is my ex husband. This guy & I communicate everyday, but thru texting only usually...which is kinda weird. But I am more comfortable w/it this way anyway, since I'm not used to the fwb thing. So I really barely even know him at all....there's only so much you can say thru texting. Plus the times we've seen each other we haven't done much talking if you know what I mean. But I can't stop thinking about him. I want to be around him & see him all the time. I don't really understand why I can't get him off my mind.....I barely know him! I feel like I want to be w/him...but how could I know that for sure? We don't get to see each other much, due to our work schedules & we're both single parents. I seriously miss him, but I hardly know him...this is so weird!

I like this girl...We've known each other for a long time (like 7 years...), and I'm realizing i have feelings for her. we're both single, neither of us have ever had a bf/ gf...I'm 19, shes 18...anyway, our church youth group is going ice skating the day after Christmas, and I wanted to get her something small and give it to her before i asked her to skate with me (go ahead, call me corny/ old fashioned. =P)... Three years ago,i divorced my husband .. Then i met this fantastic fella we have 6 children between us my children get on great with him... But his dont like me because of their mother it`s not as though he left her for me they where split 3 yrs befor we got together..i feel so uneasy when i`m around his children . He as been away from his wife for 5 yrs and i think he is scared to upset his children if he divorce`s his wife ..But i think if we are going to stay together he should divorce her I would never dream of keeping him away from his children but they are now adults ..I don t think i can take anymore do you think i should call it off and get on with my life or should i stay and wait until he is ready to finalise it with his wife?

Our marrage was emotionally over, he says he is commited to resolving it. He is still calling her every day...but it is really more complicated than all this. I have found out this affair has lasted about a year. I knew nothing about it untill 6 weeks ago. I made changes to be a better partner and wife. I see small changes in him also. he has pictures of the two of them sexually involved on a sex web site. He has still not removed them. I try not to pry. I think he is/was in love with her. When I ask him why he would want to stay in this marrage he says because of the kids, the house and of course for me. He tells me every day that he loves me, I do not think he is in love with me anymore. I want to give him the bennifit of the doubt. I asked for the divorce, HIS attorney sent the Settlement Agreement to my attorney. I have signed, but now my ex wants to go for custody instead of him OFFERING and AGREEING that he is giving ME primary residential and HE asked for and I agreed that we would have 50/50 custody. He wants this all changed. Can he do that? (not getting a response from my attorney)
