I like this girl...We've known each other for a long time (like 7 years...), and I'm realizing i have feelings for her. we're both single, neither of us have ever had a bf/ gf...I'm 19, shes 18...anyway, our church youth group is going ice skating the day after Christmas, and I wanted to get her something small and give it to her before i asked her to skate with me (go ahead, call me corny/ old fashioned. =P)... Any suggestions? Stupid question? Maybe. O_o

It needs to be something easily concealable, like in my hoodie pocket?

it will be at an outdoor rink, if that makes ANY difference whatsoever... not really sure how it would. lol...We talk a good bit, but havent really ever done anything with just the two of us, besides talk...conversation isnt really hard to come by, either.=)

you sound very thoughtful! as far as a gift; perhaps a gift certificate from a bookstore or music store? Safe, appreciated, & not to personal. It will be easy to "conceal", but why r u hiding it ? As a friend, she will feel comfortable in receiving such a gesture..plus...if she has feelings for u (similar to yours); this will make her SMILE..or at least get u going in the direction of.."more than friends.." stuff. Have fun skating & hang in there; late teen years r fun, confusing, but they go away! (hope this helps)

When our daughter was ready to shave her legs, I gave her a lesson. First I shaved my own leg, telling her what I was doing, answering her questions (how much soap? why that direction? where do you stop?) as I did it. Then I let her shave my other leg, since she was really afraid of cutting herself. She only nicked me slightly. Then I shaved one of her legs, and hung around while she shaved the other. It wasn't a perfect job, since its hard to remove full growth rather than days-old stubble, but she got the idea and has shaved daily every since. See if your momma is open to a lesson something like this.

I'd say a necklace or something, not a ring, it looks too serious. maybe a pin or something.
