Just date the ones who have respect for you and don't only have sex on their mind. You should have a good time and try to date some guys because you have to date to FIND that "right person." You can't just hold off dating until you find some guy who seems nice and just assume he's the right person. I ended up marrying my highschool sweetheart so you never know what will happen. Good for you for waiting.

Dating wouldn't be a problem just get to know the guy a little before you go out and make it clear to him you aren't ready, if he can't handle that he isn't worth your time. ALL guys want sex no matter if they are 16 or 60. It is just the ones that deserve your time and whatever you have to give will wait for it. There are some high school guys that are respectful it is just finding them. If they are a decent guy, respectful, caring, and really care for you a guy will wait until you are ready. Don't give in just because everyone else is doing it or a guy says he will love you if you do. If you aren't ready and want to save yourself for someone special do it because it is something you can only ever give once and never get back. It is something precious no one should waste on a loser. Good Luck

Not all are like that, but most are, yes. I wouldn't completely rule out dating unless you really aren't interested at this time in your life. Don't worry, you're young. There's plenty of time for dating and finding the right person.

Then find someone who doesn't mind you saving yourself and respects your views.
Not all high school guys are like that. Most talk like that but very few are actually like that.

swing it this way: every high school student wants to be "different" or "have their own identity" yet they all do the same exact thing - dress the same, act the same, want the same thing. saving yourself REALLY makes you different and sets you apart. saying no shows you have morals and you respect yourself enough not to throw yourself at anyone who walks your way.

nope not all guys are like that. look for a decent one you can have a fun, sweet relationship with. You'll never know what kinda guy you want if you don't meet a bunch that you don't want ;)
