Do you want to spend more time w/ them when you're first dating? Or do you spend more time after you've been together for awhile? I don't like feeling smothered when I'm first seeing them. I don't like talking to them everyday because it gets boring to me. When I'm more attached I'd like to talk and see them more. Is anybody else the same way?

I met a man online in June 20 of this year. Everything was very pleasant in the begining.Then these things happened:
1:He made fun of a past relationship of mine that was abusive. He said "All Robert had to do was slap you around to get you to marry him!"
2:He got angry because I wanted to go home and punched his wall.He yelled at me and said"Look at what you made me do!"
3:After two months he wanted me to move away from my aunts house and move to the city he's in. We only live 30 min apart.He said that he would rent a car and help me move my things.He started looking at apartments in his city for me.
3:We were arguing and he told me that I was acting like a" f***ing c**t."
4:He came over and when he seen my aunts home he said" Gosh!How cold you live here?This place is depressing!" "Gosh! Look at your room! How depressing."
5:Another time I wanted to go home.He yelled at me all the way to the bus stop.Once we got there he started shoving my shoulder saying DONT LEAVE!!

My ex-husband e-mailed to tell me he had seen photos of me posted on an adult website. When I asked him to tell me where, he wouldn’t. Knowing he was the only person who has ever taken “compromising" photos of me, I asked him to show me the photos. He finally did show me one of the photos and I realized he had taken one of the photos he took when we were together (years ago) and edited it to show me with someone else. He denies it and will not tell me if he posted the photos on the internet. I’m not too terribly concerned about the pictures, because I’ll never become Miss America (and if I did it probably wouldn’t matter anyway) but I’m shocked that someone would go to these lengths to discredit someone.

I like this guy who is 23 and im 17. He knows how old I am. He doesnt want a relationship . He says that he only sees him self with me sexually. I'm a virgin, and I feel like if i have sex with him that will make me more connected to him. I only want to give my self to him if he wants to be in a committed relationship. I don't see that happening... Maybe we would be in a relationship but it doesnt look like it will be something that will last for the rest of my life. Because he is so persistant that he keeps saying he is gonna marry a 5'4", yankee, with money. How crazy is that?? Well I'm scared to keep talking to him because i dont want to fall in love with him and im trying really hard to control my feelings right now. I don't know what to do... I'm really confused cause I do like him but i have no idea if he likes me. I mean he says things to make me think he does but I don't know if he is one of the guys that just says it to get in your pants. He says we will always talk and everything. He says he wont use me and it wont be a one night stand...
What should I do??

yea its disgusting for most people, but somehow i cant help it. My mom tells me i've been doing that since i was a little girl like 8 and ive just kept burping loud. I dont burp as loud when there are people around me. Around my friends i can, but like visit i cant. Even though i dont burp without opening my mouth, i burp "inside" my throat and they can still hear me, so i resist myself from drinking something. There are times i can burp silent without having someone here me, but when im at my house, i burp as i usually do. Can u help me "control" it, if that would be the word?

the fragrence of all the flowers at the weddings i have been to gives me a headache!! so i think when i get hitched i will have to find an alternative to flowers!

My boyfriend decided to take off on the motorcycle this weekend, and never thought to call me and tell me that he was going anywhere.The cell was off, and he was nowhere to be found. None of his friends knew where he was, or his family.I assumed that he didn't want to be with me anymore because a responsible boyfriend would of at least dropped me a goodbye call.So, I took all of his crap from my house, and put it in the garage. Well, he knew last night that I was mad at him, he mumbled it under his breath while his mom drilled him about where he was.Where he was, I can totally why he went, but why was a phone call not on his agenda?To let SOMEONE know he is okay?Now, he shut off his phone, cause I think he thinks I broke up with him, and the cell phones are in my name.I sent him a text saying that he needs to let me know what is going on, so I can figure out what to do with the phone.Does he think that I dumped him?I would hate to lose what I thought was special over miscommunication.

Long story short, this bridesmaid and I have basically no friendship anymore...we haven't argued or anything, just fizzled out real fast after she left our workplace (we were good work friends). There have been some negative things along the way that have happened and overall it now feels ridiculous to have her stand in my wedding considering that I have only seen her ONCE in the last several months. I have a back up that I'm better friends with. Here's my question - the bridesmaid I plan on kicking out spent $100 towards my bridal shower. I would obviously pay her back for the dress, but do I also pay her back for the bridal shower? She was not the only one who contributed (in fact contributed the LEAST amount). But I want to do the right thing here....so do I give her back all money that she spent towards the wedding? I'm thinking yes, but want to hear some opinions.....

He told me that they were best friends before and he wants to renew that friendship. I know that she still had feelings for him but she is seeing someone new now so I'm not sure. I feel uncomfortable about the entire thing. I told him how I feel and he said that I was the reason he missed out on being friends with her before because he broke it off for me. Now I am at a standstill because if I ask him to stop being friends with her he will blame me and yet I've felt so uncomfortable and just generally bad for the past two weeks! I hate feeling this way and I cannot understand his insitence to be friends with someone he knows I'm uncomfortable with. When they were friends before she had bad mouthed me and that is why I asked him to tell her not to. Any advice?

I'm looking for under 5 dollars a head. My colors are black and white with red roses. I believe the favors is a great place for me to cut back on the budget, but I'm really not that creative. I wanted to buy everyone a bottle of wine, but I think 15 dollars a head is a bit excessive for a favor.

I have been married for a long time to a man I love as a dear friend but not as a lover. I have been starved for a passionate, emotional connection for so long. i have a family member who used to be close to me, like a brother, even though he was always a difficult person and had a lot of problems, mainly having to do with isolating himself and turning people against one another by gossiping back and forth. i knew it was happening but i ignored it thinking it harmless. then i started to notice that the gossiping and trouble-making extended outside of my family and "friends" of mine started jabbing at me and there seemed to be some rumors going around about this or that thing. i waited for months to be sure and when i noticed literally dozens of pieces of info that could only have come from this one family member were circulating through the grapevine, i confronted him.

what does a person do when they are caught back-stabbing? they deny it of course. i can't prove it with evidence. it escalated yelled at him to tell me the truth and to stop lying. he's turning the whole thing around on me. how should i handle this situation?

he constantly yells, calls my dog a monster, etc. He won't spend ANY money on gifts, he buys the cheapest version on our wish lists. He actually listens in while I tell others riddles and comes in later and pretends he figured out the answer himself. He's probably coming up for my birthday this saturday. I'm working on my fiance about this and he raised a good point - - what would our guests think?
We are planning a large wedding and have found a few places in our price range.
We can only offer one option if we do a sit-down dinner, which means that our guests will get what we decide - I think we would go with chicken.
We could do a buffet with 3 options (beef, chicken, fish or pasta) for the same price.
I like the idea of variety as well as our guests could go back for 2nds if they are hungry or not fill their plates up if they don't want as much food.
The increase in price to give sit-down selections in advance puts us over budget. And I find that people often forget what they chose anyway.
My fiance feels that the sit-down is classy and the buffet isn't.
I've been to great weddings with buffet-style dinners so I disagree with him.
What are your thoughts????

I love my husband we have kids and have been married for 14 years but at the same time I adore my ex who is my best friend. We were engaged to marry but my family didn't approve, so we broke up and moved on with our lives staying just friends. We didn't see eachother for a long time until two years ago. he is recently divorced. We speak on the phone, like I said he is my best friend. I have known him all my life.
I have nothing in common with my husband, we dont even speak. the realtionship was a very sexual on in the beginning now it's, once a month, like my period.I much rather have the craps, I feel blah. I dont want to leave my husband but at the same time I want to be with my ex but wonder if it's just that I dont feel sexy or wanted in my marriage and my friend makes me feel alive again. We are so much alike, he is like my male counterpart, it's scary and I love it. I feel alive could i just be feeling trapped, will it pass. some advice please,
